  1. @Jaro Is the attachment a zip file? Logs and videos will only get you so far. You should add a short track and the devs will probably be able to see what's going on in their debugger. Cheers!
  2. No, worries! Whatever works for you! [emoji1] [emoji1303] A computer never makes a mistake, only the ones it's programmed to do. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. You still can. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. The F-16N was like a Ferrari F40 up in the sky. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah, some of the modules haven't added those extra line of code that makes it bindable. You should report it as a bug or wish. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. Excellent! You have some sort of corruption in one of the folders. The consensus seems to be some sqlite file in the Mission Editor folder. Pinging @sleighzy for the details. Delete that file, and you can revert back to your backup folder, so you don't lose all your bindings and your logbook. OR just copy back the input folder, and the logbook.Lua from the Mission Editor folder on the backup. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. I thought I had convinced you on mod managers? [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  8. @Ornithopter Fair enough! I actually re-read the whole thread and it got me thinking. I know I bring up the radar a lot, and they even address it in one of the posts. I have a feeling they will use the "same" radar model in the F-104, which makes perfectly sense. And they might have started on the F-104 in parallel, which could be a reason for the "delays". Cheers!
  9. Yeah, I know. I just wanted to emphasise that it is a bug. I haven't tried it yet, but I assume it's OvGME compatible, and then OvGME will unzip it correctly to the relevant folders. @fagulha can you confirm? Cheers!
  10. If you apply them in the core. Then it's a workaround for this bug. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. In the core folders then I guess. That is the point of the thread, to have the custom cockpits in Saved Games, and enabled through the special settings specifically not to have them in the core folders. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  12. This is redundant when you perform a full repair. Try to temporarily renamed the DCS folder in your Saved Games, to like DCS.old. In case there is some corrupted files. A repair doesn't touch the Saved Games folders. Cheers!
  13. I'm positive you will be very happy! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. @Rudel_chw Thanks for noticing. Dave, one must follow instructions to the letter. The path is incorrect. Correct path is: Saved Games\DCS\mods\aircraft Cheers! Edit: In case you look at Rudel's screenshot. Beware, he purposely has his Saved Games in a different folder. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. No one said that. But why waste money on a base without FFB if you can have one? One doesn't need one in other modules, but it makes very much sense in older aircraft where the stick moves when you trim, and you can feel how much you pull. Hopefully FFB pedals will be mainstream too.
  16. And will eventually be removed. Hopefully soon, to avoid the confusion it still creates.
  17. Doesn't it default to double click of the mouse wheel? (BTW. All your text has black background in your post. )
  18. Shouldn't be like that. All it takes is to delete the mod is to delete the Hercules folder under Saved Games\DCS\mods\aitcraft You must also recreate that path in OvGME to make it deployable if you leave the files unzipped or when making a mod package. Else it will put it in the wrong place. Correct. Didn't notice this on my først read though of your post. If you ever need to recreate Saved Games\DCS, you can just copy back the folders you need. So it's always handy to have a backup. Also, if you delete the logbook.lua under the Mission Editor folder, you lose your flight logs and campaigns progress. Yes, or DCS will not scan them. There is no manual scanning from inside the game post start. Cheers!
  19. The TM Warthog/MFDs were made for DCS, hence have pre-made keybinds setup by default. It takes a few minutes to setup for other modules. I was under the impression the new TQS was also setup by default. Anyways. You find the F-16 manual under DCS World\mods\aitcraft\F-16 xxxxxx\docs with illustrations of the correct button functions. (And make sure you setup the throttle as a slider under axis tuning). I don't expect any hardware vendor to provide setups for every module in every sim there is. Cheers! 20. Nice catch. Windows 10, and I assume 11, is notorious for connecting to Samsung, (and maybe other brands), if one has enabled "network media player scanner" or something service. You don't even have to connect to the TV yourself. Windows just does it for you. I remember now that another user had a similar issue a few years ago, and solved the problem by either disabling some service or removing the TV from Windows.
  21. Of course. Most RC aircraft are flown this way. Practice makes perfect. (I even have an RC USB controller for an RC sim, haven't tested it with DCS though). I thought we just gave him advices on how not to waste money.
  22. Agree!
  23. Hmmm... Maybe I was wrong. Did you put it in the Liveries folder? You might want to read the comments in the download section. I got a little confused actually. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
