  1. They are NATO designations. Used to be mockery names. But that changed for some reasons.
  2. In the free version of VoiceAttack, you can have only 20 commands, which is nowhere what VAICOM needs. VoiceAttack is worth it anyway.
  3. I agree with this. I don't like the reflections myself for the same reason. Highly disagree with this. Not often during the day, while depending on the position of the sun and how the light hits you, (from behind in general), in the spring/fall where I live. It can definitely be so intense that the reflections makes it "impossible" to see through the windscreen until your eyes adjust. Not sure if this can relate to a fighter though. During night? Every time the kids turned on the interior lights. Luckily newer cars have have downlight spots which prevents this. Of course this shouldn't happen in our modules. No kids allowed!
  4. Yeah, but they already did that. And we know what happened to that timeline, so i don't expect them to give another one.
  5. Exactly what @rob10 says. We were supposed to have Afghanistan completed last year, and here we are. Not complaining, as it seems they redid a lot of it from scratch, and we know they added things not originally planned. I'm happy about that. Same goes for Iraq, so it's done when it's done. Cheers! 6. Why are you posting this here? Shouldn't you post it under the relevant module? Cheers!
  7. Right, that's the one! [emoji1303] Have you toyed with the sliders? I don't remember what I sat them at, but they do make a difference. Gonna read your OP one more time. [emoji6] EDIT: Right, I remember now, but I don't remember how I fixed it. And it doesn't go the wrong way, right? That's why I asked about swapping the channels. I have to do that for every module. 8. Yup! All the weapons in ARMA look identical, while called something else. And like I said, I don't understand why they don't see it as free advertising. If I made something cool, it would be dope to see it in a computer game.
  9. Look up the thread under the Input thread, and the Discord is very helpful if you need any. Cheers!
  10. @tekwoj Not what I wrote. I'm not talking about what trim setting you are using. (Instant is of course the correct one for FFB). There should be a some special settings for FFB under the Special Settings IIRC. Can't remember what it's called and my computer is dead, so I can't check for you. Sorry! Cheers! EDIT: Have you remembered to swap the axis under the FFB tune?
  11. Quaggles just enables you to add commands in Saved Games, and if one uses Munkwolf's keybinds, they are named differently and have their own category, so no. Even so. It's been acknowledged as a bug and will be corrected. Cheers!
  12. Ah, true unfortunately. Licensing is a bitch! Companies should rather see this as free advertising. Pretty sure no one required licenses back in the 80s/90s. I wonder how Corgi and Matchbox dealt with this. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. Minor correction. You have typed "/", which is forward slash, while the correct key is backslash, "\". Minor difference, huge impact. Cheers!
  14. Unfortunately no. Try to replicate in a short one. Yes, but this doesn't apply to you as Virpil bases do not have potentiometers, but magnetic sensors. Could it be wake turbulence from other aircraft?
  15. Have you checked the special options for FFB trimming? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Just train the speech recognition some more, or add Whisper to it. It uses AI and is much better. That's the beauty of VAICOM, hence why I mentioned it. It circumvents the radio menu, (I actually have it hidden), and communicates directly with DCS, so that is not a problem. You will quickly learn and remember them the more you use it. Like I wrote, VAICOM is free, you should give it a go. Maybe it works with VAICOM. VAICOM works with some radio commands that are not in the menu. Like you can refuel on the ground without bringing up the refuel/rearm GUI. Also, VAICOM does not push buttons. One uses ordinary VoiceAttack commands/profiles for that. Cheers!
  17. @CommandT Roger! All good buddy! Have you tried with an extension? Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Currenthill is now part of the team. Why not just bring in the guys from Civilan Aircraft Mod and Military Aircraft Mod? Wouldn't that be much quicker and easier? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. In what way? Train Microsoft Speech Recognition Purchase and install VoiceAttack Download and add the free community driven plugin for VoiceAttack Setup VAICOM according to the manual Copy the VAICOM commands to the included VoiceAttack profile That's basically it. "Two, engage bandits" "Three, engage my target" Cheers!
  20. Steam or Standalone? Post your DCS.log? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. @Ramius007 You're getting off topic. [emoji6] The topic is in the header. What would bring us SP guys over to MP, not why you guys prefer MP. That we already know. [emoji4] Cheers!
  22. You could be right about the Gazelle though I can't remember for the Kiowa. I find the Kiowa is the easiest of them all actually. The Gazelle for sure had some "sticky" issues a while back. It was like one of the skids was glued to the ground. Especially sand in the PG. Tought me a neat trick though. Whenever I take off in the Gazelle, I'll apply right pedal torque, (I pretty much know how much about now), push cyclic forward and pull the collective in a firm steady motion, like you say, and off I go.
  23. @Ornithopter Well, in this scenario you're the girl and PC is you! Just kidding, couldn't resist!
  24. I would've recommended the Huey too as a starter, but it seems he already got the Gazelle, so I focused on that.
  25. @AeriaGloria Thank you, that was a simpler explanation than mine!
