On your account page in the DCS EStore you can bind your Steam account and use all your Steam purchased modules on Standalone. It's not possible the other way around and is clearly stated on each product in the DCS shop. Word of note. Sometimes it glitches and you need to rebind the Steam account. It only takes a few seconds, but it's worth to remember if your Steam purchases suddenly stops working in Standalone. And it's not possible to use Steam while the binding is active. Cheers! Fair enough, I remember this. But I have tuned my audio settings in DCS in general to accommodate for it, so I don't even actually need to turn the ICS down. I rather need to turn it up sometimes. It's probably a personal taste as I can't even remember hearing those. Maybe it's because I'm using VAICOM with the AIRIO, so I'll never even open the Jester menu. I hope they get around to accommodate everyone at some point. No, they're just sound files, and if not found will only be logged as errors in the DCS.log. You only want to remove the jokes, right? No campaign is dependant of those. Can even be easily swapped for empty or silent files. If you're still on JSGME, you might want to "update" to the newer preferred OvGME, which even has been replaced by OMM, Open Mod Manager, or even SLAM which applies mods in seconds compared to the file copying the others are doing. Cheers!

Like @PawlaczGMD writes it has to be the INS. It won't be the first time the autostart gets wacky in a module after the update. Starting the F-16 "manually" is one of the easiest things to do/learn. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

I agree! The training missions for this module exceeds most other modules! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Doesn't turning down the ICS volume down work anymore?

Just a heads up. That's the default key combo in most modules. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Ah, that makes perfect sense. Good catch!

That must be really long time ago. Are we talking about the same mission? The one you take off in heavy clouds, turn to the right and intercept a radial, then you turn around and fly back over the airport on another radial, (Kutaisi), then land. I bought the C-101 during the first free to play in 2020. Cheers!

Where can I download you? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

That mission is HARD! The instructor really hates me. The biggest problem for me was the issue with DCS not being able to play several voice overs at once, and the complaining takes precedence, so it became hard later in the mission to understand what to do. There's should have been a briefing document, so one can review the complete mission before playing it. What you are describing seems like a bug though. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

A pause/resume function would probably be most welcome for a lot of users. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

That's the whole point. You don't need to make mod to install after every update. And you don't have to update said mod every time you need something new. You just apply the one mod after update, Quaggles. The rest is kept in Saved Games. I give up. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Exactly! [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

And it will probably be absolutely perfect for rotor heads. If the price is right, they will make killing. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

We have something in common! I will always try to limp home!

Yeah, I know. We have established that before. While you should look into it. It's not even software per say. It's just a bunch of pre-made Lua files, so you don't have to mess with it. And only one file to copy/deploy after every update. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Have been thinking about that one. I take it you're happy with it? Pots are obviously best for axis. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill
MAXsenna replied to currenthill's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
The Updater did it for a while. Now it seems it doesn't anymore. Has been a request for ages. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
Oh, I didn't notice it happened after the latest patch. Maybe the settings got reset somehow? I don't consider it a bug since I need to do this basically in every module. I'd rather call it bad design/implementation. What worries me, is that it happened out of the blue. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Now, that's where Quaggles and Munkwolf's repository comes in handy. You just copy the files to the correct place! [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

You are of course correct. But like I wrote, that's not what the OP is about. I'm not trying to be rude, but I believe you are missing the point. OP asks why it doesn't happen automatically in the L-39, which is a fair question, because it does in other modules. And why on earth would you open a mission you have download, just to get the frequencies and manually make a kneeboard when it's totally unnecessary. I don't understand why you would argue about this. It's not about the tower frequencies. It's about what the preset channels in the aircraft are set to. Especially in aircraft you only have presets, like the Sabre. It's a nice feature to have a kneeboard which lists what frequencies the presets are set to. Understand now? Well, the Caucasus are installed by default The Marianas are not. That's what I mean. If they had brought the Caucasus up to Marianas levels, we would have seen it more in videos. And the Marianas are not shown that often compared to other maps like Syria, Germany and Iraq. We just disagree, and that's fine. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

We're waiting for the new ATC. It will probably have "all" of those options or similar. Except for the fire trucks. What's funny is that if one drill down into the files thy planned at some point to ask for straight in landing or overhead break. With a few other "missing" options. Not sure if emergency was there too. In any case, they were not implemented, while I'm sure they will be in the new ATC. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Refueling -- External Tanks Not Filled: Bug or Not?
MAXsenna replied to Bearfoot's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
The F1 can fill empty external tanks on the ground. The F-16 cannot. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
