  1. A few posts up really. Enigma has become critical of DCS and just fine and totally understandable, while it doesn't make him omniscient of how ED works ans their plans. Cheers!
  2. BS! Probably be true for you though. I remember flying the EF2K and others over Kali in ≈96/97. Lots of fun it was.
  3. According to PC the Kiowa will never be on trial nor sales due to the licensing agreement. Pretty sure it will change down the line at some point though.
  4. Sorry, missed that part. [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Turn down the world volume slider? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. Ah, there you have it. DCS does NOT support curves and changes to saturation with FFB. Well known issue. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. Absolutely! Totally! Let's hope they read this, and have had a good look at BeyondATC!
  8. Yeah, I can imagine! [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. @twistking I have to agree with SharpeXP here. Give me a better more realistic ATC which I can speak to along with EWR, AWACS, JTAC and wingmen in the near future! I'll be very happy and dream about your proposal! [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. They just use the Microsoft Speech Recognition included in Windows, like VoiceAttack/(VAICOM), but they use AI to "restructure" the speech-to-text, in case you say something in the incorrect order. Right now that's all we need in DCS in my opinion. And @SharpeXB is correct of course, they only need to use it for ATC. But that shouldn't stop us from giving commands to wingmen/JTAC in DCS. Hell, we can even do it now. But it's limited to exact commands limited by how VoiceAttack functions. Maybe VoiceAttack will include some sort of AI down the line. Then we're golden. Sort of. None of this will work until ED has fixed the overall AI in the game. And we can already do that by now with VAICOM, except you need to say the correct commands perfectly. That's where we need the AI like they've done in BeyondATC. I have no need to strike up conversations, but have the AI "understand" me in stressful situations. Maybe I'm missing your point, but what more do you really need? Cheers!
  11. Have you tried this? All flight axis back to normal/default. In the controls settings click the Moza column, then click the FBB tune button on the bottom. Then check the Y axis reverse checkbox. Cheers!
  12. Not using FFB by chance? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. Did you read the post above your? [emoji848] You can basically use any, even opened sourced which won't store any of your personal info. [emoji6] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. I really hope the first part of your post is where we're going! To my knowledge BeyondATC runs locally, and is pretty much a "free flow", though you can't crack jokes with it. Cheers!
  15. He never mentioned "balance", he specifically wrote consistency, and in this context it means that it should be on the same level of "reality" across all the modules. You are of course correct about the documentation. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Great catch! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. Well, if the parts were purchased separately they could potentially be installed/uninstalled individually. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Don't think mods have anything to do with that error. Might as well perform a full repair, and temporarily rename your Saved Games DCS folder to see if that works. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. They probably never do it for FC modules, but when the FF Su-25 drops, I expect to see it, even if I've never used it.
  20. Thanks @Devil 505! Awesome pictures @ViolentNomad!
  21. Maybe they don't have any photographs of the original one? According to Wiki the original one was standing from 1861 to 1961. I'm not Parisien so I don't know what pictures to look for. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah many people don't know about it. I don't remember if it was even mentioned in the changelog when it was implemented a couple of years ago. Very handy!
  23. Already exist. You can use any hat/button, and they will only browse the radio menu, when the menu is open. I don't remember what the "category" in the controls settings is called. But in the module drop down look for "command" or something similar. Personally, I use a free pling for VoiceAttack that let's me speak the commands. So I don't use the radio menu "at all". It's still needed for some cargo sling loading. Cheers! @BIGNEWY @NineLine This thread can be closed, and marked as "already implemented" in the header or something, as the wish has been granted years ago! Cheers!
  24. That's fine. Have a look at the comments on @YoYo's free campaign for the Kiowa. Totally understandable. I got the Gazelle in a helicopter pack some years ago, was instantly hooked, more so when the FM update dropped. I can easily hover, (prefer to shoot on the go), and shoot tanks at the same time, though I have FFB cyclic, collective, pedals, and a dedicated joystick for the Viviane camera, which helps a lot. I also export the Viviane and instruments to a secondary screen. Totally agree with this! Well, we're two people looking at the same screens, while using different controls. Basically just like in the real thing. That's multiplayer in my book, but not like you thought. Two screens, for the cockpit, which I control with my TrackIR. She looks down on the third exports screen where the camera is exported when tracking and engaging the enemies! And she brings us beer when needed. Lots of fun! In a way much better then over the net multiplayer. Cheers!
  25. @Blackwood Apologies! But this is a you problem. Like others have written, READ the manual. I had no issues with the first release of this module back in the days. Because I read the manual, before I tried to start it up. I always do cold starts. Also check for possible axis conflicts. I take it you're not native to English, (neither am I), and that's the reason you come off as a little entitled and demanding. No harm, lots of stuff gets lost in translation. Cheers!
