  1. That's fine, while if you read the OP's second sentence it's very much invited. No need to respond, while when you come with false information, you're gonna get called out for it. Enemy Engaged definitely had a dynamic campaign, and was one of the selling points, and even inspired by The Holy Grail. You probably don't know because you never played it. Cheers!
  2. Nah, not the only one as SD points out. We've even had it for helis. Enemy engaged. Anyway, haven't watched the mentioned video. It's relevant, though it's like 15 years later than a very good interview that's out there. And people were laughing at me on this very forum ≈five years ago, when I suggested that ED acquired the license for F 4.0 to speed up the DC development and get better AI. Oh, the irony! Anyone with two brain cells that did pay attention, would know the Microprose dudes were aiming to do a Phoenix. @Silver_Dragon The discussion is absolutely relevant about the "competition", (I assume you didn't mean "competence" even if that's kinda relevant too), because that dynamic campaign IS to this day the holy grail that everyone wants. I know ED doesn't want to be a copy cat and do their own thing. While making a dynamic campaign, the only way to do it that makes sense, is to build it around a real time strategy game. Release CA 2.0 and you have a winner.
  3. And Enemy Engaged. I used to run my own server at home. It was nothing like F4.0, but still very cool. Haven't tried any of those you mentioned.
  4. That's strange. Well, maybe the fixed the issue then. That would be really awesome. Or, it could be you have newer better hardware, I assume you use telemetry? Cheers!
  5. Well, the DCS doesn't support curves and changes in saturation for FFB. This has been debated to death. It might not be too noticeable always, especially with newer hardware/telemetry software. Any change you do must be done in the hardware's software, and not in DCS. Can easily be observed when trimming helicopters. Unless, ED changed something the past nine months, which I highly doubt. Just think about it. Let's say you don't use any telemetry, and you apply curves/saturation. How will the FFB, (basically trimming), effects know how far to move the stick when curves do not align with the linearity of the FFB effects? That's why a lot of modules when coded incorrectly for FFB, especially helicopters, don't match the trimming at all at release, (the Gazelle had issues before the new FM), and you get an exponentially trimmed aircraft. Easily observed in the Controls Indicator. Cheers!
  6. Are you sure? Tried any trimming in helicopters? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. Lovely! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  8. Nah, I'm talking about NineLine's post of yesterday. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Not allowed. Yet. When Steam finally loses down the line, we should be allowed to, at least in Europe. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. Wouldn't exactly call it a rumour the way we were told. That list is getting impressive!
  11. Yeah, I know. I was just adding my vote for renaming the Saved Games folder, which it seemed to me wasn't tried already..
  12. @fabio.dangelo Thanks! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. Fair point! Ha! So the title was that simple? No wonder I couldn't remember it.
  14. Thanks! Close to two years and this excellent feature never made it to the changelog. Just like the "unknown" OFF state for toggle switches. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. Does it work with flat screens? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Pretty sure we'll get both FF Su-25 and FF Su-27 if the MiG-29 sells well. So, do your part everyone! I truly wish we could get more Cold War aircraft. Oh, ok and BTW. You can add the F-8 to your list I suppose. Even if it hasn't been officially announced yet. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. And save with RAlt + Num0. [emoji6] @Furiz No point in reinstallations. Perform a full repair. Same thing, only quicker. It won't touch Saved Games though. To my knowledge. You have to have snapviews save enabled, and you must save a snapview before the file gets populated. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Nothing. I did enjoy that helicopter SAR server, and I dable into other servers from time to time. Not at all interested in joining any squads, because I fly whenever I feel like it, without constraints and commitments. MP can be lots of fun. My first experiences were EF2K, some DI and Janes games over Kali, before IP was widely supported. Yeah, and FPSs like Doom, Descent, Nukem 3D, some Starwars etc. But that was way back in the 90s. There was a warbirds game that supported IP and only MP. The name escapes me, and was subscription based, so I gave that up very quickly. After the 90s I was a console user for 10+ years, and played a lot of MP with my X. But we had multiple TVs and consoles. Spent countless hours in MP on some PS3 game pleasing her I can't remember. Some FPS something. I have nothing against MP, and I will probably eventually come back to it. But I have too much fun learning all the modules in SP. [emoji4] Cheers! 19. The first cut is the deepest....
  20. No problem! Just post them here in this thread at your convenience, and I'm sure it will be resolved in not time! Enjoy your shift and welcome to the forum!
  21. @Melt-Down Just saw this too! Love your username, read it as "melt down in DCS wishlist".
  22. Seriously! You've had it for a month, and you ask for help now, when it's working for everyone else? I don't intend to be harsh, because I truly deeply know how frustrating it is when something doesn't work. But calling it a bad module when it's obviously a problem in your end, that's just bad style. Apologies! Post screenshots of your bindings and your F-4E Special settings. Ie. LWin+LShft+S, (not with your phone), and your DCS.log. DCS\logs under Saved Games. Also. NEVER re-install. A full repair is much quicker, and does the same thing. It will not touch Saved Games though. So any problems/corruptions that are there will not be repaired. A quick test is just to rename the DCS folder under your saved games, after a repair, and you have a plain vanilla installation. You could actually try to rename it now, in case you have any conflicting mods. Cheers, and best of luck! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. It's a suggestion. And I have complained before to ED that they should change the text, and NOT suggest Google. @NineLine @BIGNEWY About time to change it now, ain't it? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  24. Ouch! I misunderstood. I thought you meant the post where ED clarified and debunked Enigmas claims. My bad. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. You put a link to it from a file sharing service like Google Drive or Microsoft Onedrive. Cheers!
