That works both ways you know. I'd rather not have to download the Nevada map as I don't want it even if I'll get it for free because of the DCS A-10C beta.
-
Are you a software developer? I am and I know it is a lot of extra work maintaining separate standards like they will have to. There is no definitive information on this but I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly announced that the Georgia map will be phased out. For me the theater is more important than the graphics so I'm of course worried about that.
-
Indeed. This is a good one: :D
-
I know. I have the Su-25A module too (not on steam). The FC3 manual was included but it was stated in the last patch notes that a separate manual had been added (which was missing):
-
For some reason it wasn't included in the patch but it is available to download on the steam product page. http://store.steampowered.com/app/245580/

Here it is: Su-25 Flight Manual EN.pdf

This is a classic phishing attack. I hope you didn't try to log in through that page.

Su-25T? I didn't mention it. What I meant was that the FC3 manual was already included with the separate modules. Anyway, I was just curious as to what the Su-25A manual was adding since we already had the FC3 manual but maybe it the same. -

There wouldn't be any need to mention it in the friday update if there was no new manual. For the separate modules the FC3 manual was already included before the patch (at least with the Su-25) and it wasn't modified. I don't have a Su-25A manual, neither in the start menu nor in the DCS folder. -

I have the Su-25A module and can confirm the manual is not there. Page 6: -

Anyone know where it is? The Su-25A/Doc folder only contains the FC3 manual which was not modified with this update. -
I realise the thread title is "Sale numbers of DCS World modules" but the reasoning in the first post goes into talking about income so I assumed that is what the OP wanted to get to. I haven't said you would get anything else out of such public documents and I know very well that you can't.
-
I'm not sure if OP wanted anything more than that. I thought the point of calculating on each module was to get a total. I know such documents are not going to contain any deeper level of detail.
-
Do you know for a fact that such documents are not public in Russia?
-
I doubt those percentage values are anywhere near accurate. Many accounts have likely been around since Lock On and are perhaps not active anymore. Also many people who have bought modules through Steam are probably not forum members. If you are really interested in these numbers, there should be public documents available like annual reports and such for ED (assuming the system in Russia is somewhat similar to the rest of Europe).

I searched and know both of these are a repost but they are worth it. There are more videos like these on this youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/kuslin2/videos

The July 26th Wags Update! Thread

I remember photos being posted and speculation as to whether this is IR blocking smoke. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=490642 Hehe. 2008! No idea how I remember that. -
Even though I greatly enjoy the clickable cockpits and systems modeling of DCS fidelity, I haven't flown anything else since the release of the Su-25A and probably won't for a while. Didn't go for FC3 but now as a separate module I just couldn't resist. It's difficult not to love the Su-25A and I hope it gets what it deserves in the long term in DCS.

That EDGE will replace the current IG is what my software developer mind told myself but that would mean we would be stuck in Nevada from when it's released until the next yet unknown map is released. Since I'm not excited about Nevada I've sought clarification on this and the only answer I've got is this: Which, if it's true (I hope), means that both will be used in parallel.

I feel like this requires some more detailed analysis. Surely there may be a hidden message in there.
-
There's no right and wrong. You play however you want to play it. For me personally the back story is very important. It's the reason for the mission, for being there in that situation. Without it I'm just "flying around killing shit" and that is not enough for me. I like simulating a realistic scenario even if that means I don't fire a shot. The reason I voiced my concern was simply because I had made the assumption that EDGE would replace the current IG and since it was clarified that it will not then I have no problem with the Nevada map.
-
I'm interested in some clarification on this. Is EDGE replacing the current IG (meaning we're stuck in Nevada) or not (meaning the Caucasus map will still be available)?
-
Perhaps I have wrongly made the assumption that EDGE will replace the current IG. If that is not so then I have absolutely no problem with this.
