SM is Russian and KM is Georgian. What we have aside from the T is the one without any postfix.

What I'll enjoy most about this addition is the crying when the fanboys realise that this plane is not magical and will not automatically win the fight for them.

Actually I think it does work now, I may have been using the wrong settings in my first try.

Probably depends on the hardness of the surface in reality. I'm not sure how well that is modelled but I imagine you would get dirt sucked into the engine intakes belly sliding on a field. I prefer gear down but there are of course those moments you are left staring at a burning wreck wondering if there was an invisible ditch somehwere that you snagged on.

True but just leaning forward with TrackIR zooms in the outside perspective way too much to be even remotely realistic.

Forgot to mention the zoom-view which certainly helps a lot. I guess all FC aircraft have it? I don't like this feature (because real eyes don't have zoom :)).

A completely bug free version is practically impossible to produce when it comes to any software. I'm sure ED is trying, as all software developers do, and you can get close but never actually get there. I'm sure most people would be happy with fixing the major stuff though but I don't see the need for a once a year exclusive patch for this.

It's up to you if you can wait. If you wait a few years you may even be able to find it for 10$ at some point. The demand for it on beta release day and during the first month is obviously justifying the price. When demand drops, the price drops. It's just how the market works. Don't insinuate that Belsimtek is doing it out of spite. They really could ask for a much bigger price.

You're in a flying tank so fly low and fast and watch for smoke trails and tracers. A very distinct "thump" can also be a sign of targets nearby even if not spotted visually. :D Seriously, I just look for movement and dark pixels on the ground unless there's smoke and fire. Don't have any special method.

Since it has caught on, you may want to create a thread in this sub forum on the subject so that people see it.

That is my understanding as well. Over the years I've seen it referred to as Su-25"A" and Su-25"S" but I think mostly to not confuse people with the Su-25T. EDIT: realised the module isn't actually listed anywhere with the A-postfix.

This lovely plane definitely deserved its own sub forum! ED are obviously busy with a lot of things right now but I hope, one day, that we will see a version with full DCS fidelity. It could be able to co-exist with the FC version as everything external would be the same.

Just pointing that out as he/she is still expressing incomprehension as to why anyone has anything against the Nevada map. There's naturally going to be as many opinions as people. The answer to this question has been discussed in several threads so there's no point in mentioning it again.
