  1. No I dont think that's the issue, i'm running the miz as MP locally on the same PC as the client, with all mission settings identical
  2. I don't think ED can do anything about an issue between the user and the hardware:megalol:
  3. F10 menu in MP Hello everyone, this one has me completely beaten; I play a particular MP mission which has an F10 menu structure. No matter what I do, it seems that if the mission is launched through the 'MULTIPLAYER' option in DCS, the 'import F10' does not work. However if I launch it as an SP mission through the 'MISSION' option in DCS, the 'import F10' works beautifully and I can natter away with excellent results. Among other things I have reset lua/keywords, made sure 'Import F10 Menu' and of course 'Use with Multiplayer' is selected, toggled them on/off, restarted etc. Does anyone with an in-depth knowledge of VAICOMPro have any ideas as to why this might be and what to try next? Thanks Tim
  4. you don't have to muck up anything though, in VA you can wrap it in an 'If F16' statement. If I understand correctly and you want VA to do one thing for one airframe and something different for another. afterthought: you might need the VAICOM Pro add-on to VA for the above to work(an essential addition imo) :)
  5. I think it's a case of yes to both your questions. As i understand the modelling that is used at present the bearing given is the reciprocal of the BRC, you will hold on the bearing FROM the carrier, turning outbound no closer than the range(DME) and the Angels given. Your heading to the carrier (hopefully timed so that you are on the inbound leg) will be the BRC. In real life I beleive the hold for a case III is normally offset from the BRC, maybe this modelling or option will come later to DCS. I'm sure someone will literally shoot me down in flames if I am out of line above
  6. i've got those 2 add-ons and works fine. Does it happen if you don't run the 3rd party apps ? If it doesn't then its not really appropriate being in the 'DCS Bugs ...' section, rather in the VAICOM forum, let us know.
  7. cant be bothered to read 15 pages, really! Grow some and practice until you can do it, or just select 'unlimited fuel', it's as simple as that - all you need is in the sim already.
  8. The TCN beacon is often not aligned with the runway and the use of it solely as a navaid will guide you along radials to/from the physical location of it rather than the runway.
  9. you're surprised that trained pilots with hundreds or thousands of hours can refuel IRL, and you can't sit in your armchair and practice hand/eye coordination for a few hours and crack it?, i think you should be shopping for a games console not a sim. It's a simulator, why do you think it should be easy? Sorry to be negative but there's enough dumbing down of real life elsewhere on the market, probably cost you less as well.
  10. Not everything in life is easy or handed to us on a plate, and quite rightly. Practice more, watch youtubes on it, or stop playing DCS. It's a SIM not a PlayStation game.
  11. I think that's where I started yes run OBS as admin(very important!), v25.0.8 settings-output-recording output mode advanced recording format mp4 encoder NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new) rate control VBR bitrate 100000kbps max bitrate 200000kbps preset quality profile high GPU 0 max b-frames 2 settings-video base (canvas) resolution 2560x1440 output 2560x1440 downscale filter bicubic(sharpened scaling, 16 samples) common fps value 60 you then set up your scene, add your source(game capture) mode capture specific window window DCS.exe test it out, there will be some frame cropping, you can position the captured output in the OBS frame to your liking. these setting work for me, your mileage may vary my PD is now at 1.0 for other reasons, no optimization mod, but I think the PD at the time of that clip I posted was up at around 1.4 oh and for recording, I have voice commands which I can start and stop the recording, you don't want to leave it recording for very long due to file size/disk space, keep clips short
  12. if this is what you're after, then it's OBS that I used. HTH
  13. it's not cheating really is it, it's just enlarging something users in VR cant see without pressing a button to zoom VR
  14. Yeah I know it's a wish list but come on don't be ridiculous, ED have enough to do. When you create a mission involving airfields you add your airfield 'furniture' etc. In the real world a fob or farp needs prior planning - you don't just 'turn up' somewhere, so plan it in your missions and add the fuel bowser or whatever you need to refuel. Lazy.
  15. ..except just excluding the folder - what's so difficult?
  16. yup all working, note that i did have to do a DCS repair obviously to fix DCS, and the reset lua code after checking the ob box.
  17. re. the 'OB' check box This is surely a temporary workaround than a fix right? The effect of doing it simply creates a parallel folder DCS.openbeta alongside the DCS folder(if that's what your particular setup conisists of), so DCS effectively just 'carries on as normal' because the export.lua DCS is looking at doesn't change. Before DCS 2.5.6 I never had to have the ob box checked, that's the only material change i have made to continue using the plugin. Just saying and if that's not correct someone who knows for sure please say so. T
  18. ..nothing actually to do with MAV F's then, misleading title, should be 'problems mapping slew with <insert hardware>' and probably in the Controller Profiles and Problems section
  19. its been a while since i used JTAC but from memory i think i used to check-in simply with; 'Axeman 11(obviously whichever c/s is appropriate) - playtime 15 minutes' Have you tried that?
  20. I beleive it's the export.lua in saved games/scripts you need to worry about
