Your input settings should be stored under your local disk:>users > "your username" > saved games > You can go into your local disk: > Program Files > Eagle Dynamics > Open Beta or Alpha > mods > aircraft > (from here you need to go into the 'bin' folder of each module to run the protect.exe file and deactivate them. Don't forget to also hit the terrains and missions / campaigns as well if you have those.

I saw the issue as well, just doing a free-flight. First time in cockpit looking anywhere but straight ahead the FPS would drop. Also when you first jump to external view, moving the mouse to look around will result in FPS issues. It seems to disappear after a few seconds, almost as if things didn't load. So it probably is some optimization stuff. Going to see if it went away entirely or if it is reproducible at the start of each "game."

Considered that, though I'm not sure they would drop the hornet while showcasing the Viggen. I figured it was more likely to hear Wags and his famous line and the F-14 that someone has already mentioned.
