  1. +1, having the modding community pitch in and make the small additions to the game would be awesome, ofc as long as there is quality control

I want the high grade fuel because it is historical for the setting (at least the 25, don't know about the Pacific Mustang), but the performance boost I'm seeking isn't the speed increase, but the increase in climb rate. That's what gets my attention the most. However if the Mustang gets this, I think it's also right that the Spitfire does as well. And I prefer this wouldn't be forced on the module as a strict update, but added as an optional loadout [emoji1303]

I would like 150 grade fuel though, maybe changeable via rearming window Same with ammo types, it's already done for some modules like the 18 I'm happy if the main focus on the WWII team is the DM though, until it's out. Sooner its released the better, and the sooner I'll be making AI shoot at me to see what breaks
  4. Use DXTBmp or the GIMP plugin. However they're old and uses an outdated form of .DDS. The best result though, pluck out the 9.99 a month and get photoshop, then download the .DDS plugin for Photoshop from Intel
  5. Wait, what VR are you using? I recently got a Rift S and can't see squat with it in DCS, outside of the cockpit.
  6. Yeah the introduction of the 262 is something I'm not sure I'm happy to see. It depends a lot on server operators...or the one, specifically, but when we get one (unless it's being held off for now), it's gotta be limited to just 2 or 3 slots
  7. ED terrain team is their own thing, and do not create maps for any other game. BoBp is made by the regular IL-2 map team, as will BoN. UGRA is a third party, NOT a part of either game's map team. They've made the Normandy map for DCS and the Arras map for IL-2's FC, which was released about a month ago, not 2015. BoN is not made by UGRA. Again, BoN is not made by UGRA. There's literally nowhere this confusion should be coming from and it's ridiculous. Believe facts not rumors. If it's a rumor, mention it as such. This is how misinformation is tossed around.

  9. Dude this is a DM issue, which is going to be updated. Bringing this up again is pointless because it is going to change very soon, and the change will likely fix the issue

  14. Absolutely, 20mm can allow more ammunition and it's not as difficult to land a hit. The Anton hits heavily already, without much difficulty aiming. A mk103 is unnecessary against fighters
  15. In a particular other game, the P-51D has a different MP gauge that reads higher when 150 grade fuel is selected
  16. We actually have a pretty low boost version of a P-51D. Unfortunately we don't have 150 octane. The P-51 isn't the prettiest in air combat, but if used right (and about the only way to), diving from above and get your speed up, you'll be just fine, so long as no enemy players are at a similar altitude to you. That's where a wingman is necessary. Air combat aside, it's a great beginner aircraft to get used to handling these types of aircraft. Despite its drawbacks, I'd still recommend it, particularly to learn fundamentals.

  21. Personally I'd prefer the 20s over the 30s. Better ballistics and more of the ammunition. The current armament is already heavy enough to vaporize fighters. I can only see this being used in the ground attack or bomber interceptor (for a 190A though..?) role. Was it used in one of these roles during the war?

  23. It wasn't any aircraft, at least not conventionally. I was spectating an Mi-8 on multiplayer. He was warping REALLY HARD, and up was one of the directions he went.
