  1. This ^ kind of stuff is why I wanted the new DM to include brake wear and overheat
  2. Takeoff assist has the rudder automatically keep the aircraft straight, torque etc isn't negated, just automatically countered
  3. This bug is still present. Where's the Heatblur team at?
  4. I use my right toe brake. It works surprisingly well, even while braking and simultaneously snapping the rudder left and right
  5. I tried to make a mod (though for the Luftwaffe aircraft), but it didn't seem to work [emoji848]
  6. Yep, agreed. The second only to DCS is probably the Spitfire in FSX. And if A2A makes one for MSFS, that'll probably be a new par.
  7. I have two issues: When I go to export a .DDS in DXT5, there is no option offering "explicit alpha". There is only a DXT5 offering a normal map format, and "DXT 5 ARGB 8bpp interpolated alpha" Is this format acceptable? Also, what is this implying, and what separate files are needed to fully see the Anton template?
  8. If the normal map is in the wrong or old format, it would cause this pass-through effect, but on the plane as a whole. I don't know why it'd only be a stripe on the wings
  9. yes
  10. BC3 8bpp Linear compression, texture type Color+Alpha
  11. Clearly you didn't watch the video
  12. In the .lua, there are only three variables for tire friction for each of the Mustang's wheels. Don't work yourself up. To deny a small and rather competitively effortless step is going 300% overboard
  13. +8lbs is actually acceptable for takeoff as well. The Spitfire is actually really controllable, so long as you have wind moving past the rudder.
  14. Ah yes, I've seen this video. Great job! I think you should contact Nineline or BIGNEWY, to maybe get this mod integrated.
  15. Yes the handling (on hard surfaces and in flight) is accurate. The Spitfire gave a lot of input to the pilot through the seat of the pants feel, and depended on it more than some other aircraft. Unfortunately we dont have this in a simulator. The closest you can get is a Gametrix Jetseat. If you want to put money and creativity in, you can also try creating those rotating setups, where the player's chair is shaken, shifted and rotated.
  16. Yeah going to say that 2 years is an acceptable time for an item to be in EA. 2.5 would be a bit long, over that would be “what's the holdup?”
  17. I want realistic ;)
  18. If a Japanese fighter was made, especially a Zero, I'd jump into that whole-heartedly. I'd be willing to fight Corsairs
  19. Yes, this is the first version that I got to work, the one on the DCS userfiles. What file and line might I find the way to change the save hotkey?
  20. Me personally I'd sit this one out. I sit out many modules though, and only got the F-14 in the last sale, when it finally participated in one.
  21. The saving problem? I found a workaround, and edited the cfg files directly to get the zoom IPD to stay as I set it.
  22. Questions, that I think as the OP, you should answer. What historical events did it take part in? Is it actually popular or famous? How would it fit in to the current or not-far-off scope of DCS, or would it carve a niche for itself?
  23. I still think we should see some Zeros in the sky. I personally would probably still buy it, just for my love of props
  24. I can already forsee that this will become another 100+ post thread. Mark my words [emoji12]
