  1. I wish ED would push out that template. I'd love to create some Anton liveries. [Hint hint nudge nudge ED]
  2. ^FOR-EV-ER [emoji51]
  3. 2.5 months, from report to fix. Let's see this happen with the Spitfire's sun flare bug (all glass, even through the aircraft and onto the gauges, really irritating that).
  4. Uhh.... [awkward shuffling] ...wood?
  5. I did some comparing (because the screenshots didn't look much different, honestly, not without a side-by-side), and it seems the textures are largely identical to the default. The only difference I've found so far are the addition of a roughmet for the glass, and some dirt was added around the numberpad on the UFC. I've looked for other grime, and I can't find any, even the ones listed on the website. Got any side-by-side comparisons?
  6. Any plans to improve this again to the latest EDM used by the F-14, Anton, and iirc the F/A-18?
  7. To remove a serial number in the description.lua, you type “empty” between the second pair of quotes. For example: {"Fw190_serial_L1", 0 ,"Fw190_Fuselage_D_Hans_Dortenmann",false}; turns into: {"Fw190_serial_L1", 0 ,"empty",false}; This will allow you to hard paint your own serial numbers into the diffuse.
  8. An update (and unedited/unsharpened pics) would be great [emoji4]
  9. Awesomesauce!
  10. Nothing to the Anton.
  11. Not sure, but there's this. https://www.facebook.com/441639040340/posts/10162010833675341/
  12. So much this, especially your last point. Need to see more third parties on WWII. It's why I held VEAO high until the end, when they took their Spitfire and P-40 with them... I'm hoping A2A will join ED
  13. Two people have said they are experiencing it, actually. Plus myself. It's not so common as it once was, but on occasion my gunsight will fail, unprovoked. Latest OB This bug is still present.
  14. This is something I've been wondering for some time as well. DCS WWII needs a boost. The Hornet gets constant updates constantly, but there's only crickets on the WWII side of the line. I get the impression that the WWII team is dismally small, what with content getting worked on or bug fixes, but seemingly rarely both at once. Currently we are getting small bug fixes to the Anton (though frankly I think it released rather smoothly, compared to other past modules), but we haven't gotten any ordinance. I'm not saying they don't work hard enough, but I frequently wonder if either the WWII team doesn't have enough hands, or they're being prioritized on other not-so-WWII projects, or one massive project, both of which still sounds like not enough manpower to me. Nine said something about it in the ED Discord, but I can't recall his answer in detail. But iirc, expanding isn't that feasible currently.
  15. Downloaded it to give it a quick look. Unfortunately I don't have the rest of the F-14's file structure to compare. HB did some special stuff to their Tomcat, organizationally, I hear. Most (every other afaik) modules have a cockpit livery folder in their Mods folder. If available though, once in Mods/aircraft/F-14, look for a folder labeled Liveries. When opened, you may have a folder labeled something like Cockpit_F-14 or something. I'd start there. You'll want to transfer Brick's modified textures into a new cockpit livery profile. Creating a cockpit livery is similar to making a livery for exterior textures. Inside should be an LUA called “description”. From there... God it's hard for me to explain over text. I recommend you join the DCS Livery Group. The process of creating a livery for a cockpit is similar to skinning for external textures, so there are a multitude of people here who (other than actually having the F-14) would explain better than I can. 16. Have you made a new cockpit livery profile? If you have, you should have to enable your cockpit mod through the special are miscellaneous tab in the game options. It will be a drop down menu. If it doesn't show up, and you're just editing the textures in the zipped folder.
  17. I hope that'll be worth every frame that I lose. If that does happen, and we do get pieces like that, and I think it's worth it [emoji4] as long as it's better than what we have now
  18. Ah, you're right! Have you tried this method? Releasing the starter button when the engine fires, but holding the booster, etc etc? [emoji848] Can't try it myself right now.
  19. I actually made mine a chart of different wingspans for different aircraft [emoji12]
  20. This will be handy when mosquito comes out.
  21. That is for Merlin 61 and 63 engines. Our Spitfire has a Merlin 66 engine. It actually says in your screenshots between the parentheses. And that's a pilot's notes manual. A little different from a normal flight manual, not as specific and covers more important or notable items.
  22. Good question, +1
