  1. Yes, it does. Shortly after release I made a post about it, explaining that you basically need keybinds so it’s finicky but it does work.
  2. Yes and that shows! Let me put it this way: if it’s not done correctly and the dimensions are off, you’ll know it because the cockpit will “feel wrong” or “feel off” even if you don’t consciously know why. Heatblur modules don’t have that issue
  3. Sorry to quote you again, but I found a solution for that (at least in VR): Adding the line: options.graphics.stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = true to my autoexec.cfg fixed those differences in lighting, at least for me.
  4. On top of all that, early MiGs are also notorious for high-speed buffeting, especially in a dive - up to the point the aircraft becomes virtually uncontrollable. The AI doesn't care about any of that... Anyway, this "discussion" / "debate" / whatever you want to call it can keep going on until the Milky Way collides with Andromeda and still won't be any closer to reaching an agreement. There's a Mark Twain quote that comes to mind that is very applicable, but I won't repeat it here or I'll get naughty points Have fun, peeps!
  5. And yet it’s been going on for 3 pages Don’t mind me by the way, I’m only here for the entertainment
  6. Lately it definitely seems that ED modules need at least 2-3 years AFTER early access release to get to a stage that a lot of people consider to be ready for any serious use (more than the odd free flight). And that really is a shame…
  7. Of course not. Flaming Cliffs always was and always will be extremely simplified for the sake of accessibility.
  8. Ah perhaps those lights are something else then, but the lighting on aprons and such definitely are mere textures.
  9. They do not, because those "lights" are textures and not actual lights.
  10. Yes dry grass shouldn’t have that effect: I have first hand experience with it too. But judging by some YouTube videos I saw, the effect is still quite *under*done in the desert, though.
  11. Looking at your signature, I’d never guess!
  12. Works just fine in Brave browser - ignore the colours: I have my monitor in HDR mode and the windows screenshots tool doesn't support HDR. Also, this should have been posted here instead: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/61-forum-and-site-issues/
  13. Unless you want to become an exhibit on Körperwelten, I suggest you keep it.
  14. This here is the correct subforum: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/1340-quick-action-generator/
  15. If the AI's FM was that good, there would be no need for the new GFM.
  16. @dggoofy It might be a good idea to also post a link to this thread in the Mi-24 subforum, so people can find it more easily: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/856-missions-and-campaigns/
  17. On top of any manoeuvring characteristics, there's the problem of their omniscient situational awareness through vision that's unobstructed by canopy frames and aircraft structures, and vastly overperforming sensor abilities in general. This allows the AI to perform their manoeuvres as perfectly as their FM allows since their decision making will always be perfect.
  18. This thread is tagged with "only K and L planned".
  19. Imagine the Brits actually doing this in WW2… A Seafire if you will
  20. I can't believe you are the first person to think of this... Oh wait... Please run a search on the forum, and feel free to reply to the existing threads on this topic...
  21. Superb news! I recently started playing some older campaigns converted to Mi-24 but they are so full of bugs it's not a smooth experience. I can't wait to test yours!
  22. No, but whatever they did that caused the stuttering I showed in the screenshots I posted, is fixed again since 1-2 patches. What I did notice however, is that I had to disable ReBAR after installing the latest nvidia drivers. It is apparently not officially supported, but never gave me any issues either - up until now that is. You might try that as well and see if it fixes it for you.
  23. That’s OT here, but yes I was one of the people, but the recent patches fixed it again (for me anyway). So whatever they did to cause them in the first place, is now undone.
  24. Sure, but this was not available on the 9.12A, was it?
