Hi, Would someone be able to answer my question on the Virpel Control Panel lighting. I take it that you will need to run the Virpil software to program the button colours. Once the button colours have been assigned via the Virple software, will the Control Panel remember the settings or will you have to run the software alongside to keep the colour layout? Rapid

I was thinking that we needed a thread for guys who do not build dedicated Sim Pits but utilize their office/desk space to be able to fly and work from the same area. And I found thread. Here is mine, I am still waiting for a company to release a new Button box but keeps been pushed back. So while I wait I will present unfinished set up. The Stick gets moved under the desk and sits on top of my speaker. The Throttle slides under the plinth that the monitor sits on and the two Cougar's can if required be push up and away.

I too have seen this phenomenon As above, doing a straight run and the TGP lock will move.

I had a saitek x52 Pro and Saitek Pro Flight Rudders and replaced them with the WartHog Throttle and Stick and TPR Rudders. Very happy with the set up. Rapid

Your build is very similar mine so you are on the right track. I too was planning on buying a 3080 but my plans have been thwarted by the Miners - Popped a 2070 in there in the mean time. My build: Asus ROG Hero 8 Wi-Fi Ryzen 3900X Ram popped 32 megs in as was also planning on putting 128mb in until my mates at work asked if I was building a Server! I built my new system last year March so next month it will be a year old. I put a GTX 2070 in while waiting for the release for the 3000 series....and i'm still waiting!!!! what a complete farce . I'm prepared to wait it out until prices become more "manageable" but I refuse to be fleeced by greedy vendors.

Got mine January gone and I must say I do like them. My last Rudder system was a Logitech G Pro, had them for years never really noticed the Clacking and Clanging...until I got me the TPR now total silence and smooth operation, Everyone will have their own view and favourites but I am happy with mine. OP, I had the Logitech for a few years in fact when BlackShark was first released. I have now stopped using them after the spring broke inside the left pedal - this is a known fault with these Rudders and you can buy a replacement part for it on ebay. Not sure if Saitek has resolved this issue yet. I never noticed how Clonky and Clanky these rudders where until I replaced them with a Thrustmaster TPR....utter silence now!!! What a difference it has made. I find them easier to use and more precise. Now I am not knocking the Logitech as it is all down to preference what is good for me may not necessarily be good for you. Yes correct., A lot of people may hit you up with what they feel is the best just do your research on the advice given. I had an X52 for many years lasted a long time until I decided to change it for something else. I also had a MS Sidewinder good ol days.

Careful with System like Dell some of their boards limit certain up grades. As for the Ram you will probably be only be able to purchase them from Dell....unless things have changed! Just do your home work on what you wish to do with your system and what can be done to your system. Hope it all works out.

Agree with Yurgon. The same issue used to mystify me.....untill I learned to set the profile up as per what you have done BUT when selecting the weapon make sure HUD is SOI and not in GUN mode then use the DMS button to select weapon of choice.

Looks like most sites have had their stocks updated so you should be able to order a WartHog now as they are in stock from what I have just seen..

I had major lag once, so all I did was remove ALL my graphic drivers reboot then re install the latest graphic drivers. It worked on that occasion but not all situations are the same. Rapid
