F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
Pasquale1986 replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I think - as SkateZilla pointed out - a Rhino would be a wohle new module with a comparable amount of work e.g. a F-16 might require. While i see the critique by others, that the E would overlay our legacy hornet in terms of capabilities, role and so in a lot of terms as valid, i still think the Rhino has a place in the sim. I think it would be a very valuable asset if we consider the making of an F-Model rather than an E-Model. The spot of the operational capabilities and mission types of a F-Model in the mid to late 2000's era is open - even if Heatblur considers doing the F-14D we would be able to simulate the transition phase since the Tomcat was phased out in 2006. I don't know how you Kev2go would think about that solution but i think that would make sense. Cheers -
DCS Spitfire - Refining your technique
Pasquale1986 replied to DD_Fenrir's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
Very good input on that vid Fenrir! I normally use my Virpil T-50 Base with 10cm extension without any curves or dead zones and thats absolutely perfect for the spit. But i tried the warthog without extensions and your profile provides a really nice feel despite the lack of an extension. Well done Sir! Besides that I can encourage everyone to use an extension with DCS - it's a game changer. I am really looking forward for further episodes as i am flying the old lady exclusively at the moment - your effort is highly appreciated! -
I hope so, too! The new Flak Demo looks promising in regards of an overall improved and realistic theatre representation

Just for fun, future aircraft module wishlist
Pasquale1986 replied to FlankerMan's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Regarding the obvious F-16 choice i would love to see the F-16 I Sufa with multicrew, but i think that this baby is as classified as possible :D -
I have absolutely no doubt, that ED and Yo-Yo will give us nothing less than the most accurate Flight Model possible for the Mig-29 and nothing short of the amazing SU-27 FM. For me the only question is, if the work has already started
-
Originally it was planned that work on the Mig-29 PFM will start after the Finishing of the SU-33. As razor stated, asking for ETA‘s is futile. But it would be interesting to know if ED already started working on the Mig. Maybe we can get some hint on that.

MC-130H and HH-60H! I would love some pure reconnaissance A/C as well U-2 and SR-71 could be fun - maybe the latter not so much since we would run out of map very quickly:megalol:

Just for fun, future aircraft module wishlist
Pasquale1986 replied to FlankerMan's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I would love to see some bombers with a nice multi-crew environment: B-52H (i know, Engine's Engine limitation, but one may dream) B-1B Aside that i would love to see a full fidelity polish Mig-29G with nato mfd-upgrade, which could be possible, since avionics have been heavily modified afaik, while all 4th gen russian toys mentioned in the poll would be unlikely to governmantel restrictions -
Regarding Civil Aviation in DCS i would love to see a B-52H

Compared to other software products, the F/A-18 is more than reasonably priced. The level of simulation provided would allow to approach and exceed $ 100,00 without a doubt and even that would still be a fair price - always compared to other software products on the western market. Especially the ea-pricing is a very pleasant surprise. Thx ED

Wish List: BF109 Gunpods and rockets?
Pasquale1986 replied to Xeon's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
Exactly  More is more  Anyway, i am certain that in the in the long haul the DM of the B-17G will be adjustet to realistic levels Wags was pretty clear on their intention to continue the WWII branch -

Yup, and abuse them for some ground pounding:D -

Pasquale1986 replied to Xeon's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
+1 and more muzzle velocity - 810 m/s instead of 500 m/s -ish would be really lovely. Don't actually need more Ammo but higher muzzle velocity is always a good thing :D But i wouldn't count on that either -
-
I am pretty confident and hopefull that we will see a lot of pogress 2018 on the theatre part of DCS: WWII - that's the biggest void for me right now. In this case Sithpawns post was really encouraging :D

The 109 has the option that rudder trim can be set by the crew on the ground. It is in that way normally trimmed to cruise speed at cruise altitute. So if you're flying her in cruise setting (Art-J's parameter look good to me), only minor control input is neccessary to maintain stable level flight. Hands of flying without AP is never recommended ;-) I adjust throttle to balance her out rudder wise and trim here to +2 nose down. At 3000m i normally end up at round about 420kph - in that region she is pretty stable and doesn't require much input iirc i'll check the numbers when i get home after work
-
Exactly! I think it's always worth the wait imho - fm-wise there is simply no alternative. DCS - especially the 109 FM - already killed my flying experience with prop a/c in every ohter sim i know. It would be highly sadistic to stop here:megalol:

Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
Pasquale1986 replied to UIV's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
Nice one:megalol: Sold it to my wife as a massage pad/seat which is neccessary during longer flight sessions because of my herniated disk issues - of course i don't think she believed one bit of the story, but at least she accepted this absolutely neccessary investment in my health :music_whistling: -
:music_whistling: now i am curious what you guys come up with. This kind of super vague teasing is just brutal :D
-
Yup, same thought
-
Exactly! Edit: And i just checked the Dora forum - we've been here before: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=149411

Same CLmax is listed in NACA reports for the same airfoil & similar wing planform: FW190 landing speed: The Landing Speed sheet refers to the A5 to A6 model - do we know if it was the same for the D9? I mean, they do have different weight, engine and lift characteristics AFAIK. Thanks for the clarification - i wasn't aware of the altitude drop to the east

That indeed would not make sense at all. MSL of Las Vegasitself is 610m. So other parts of the map are situated considerably higher above sea level. This adds will ad up in the long haul considering he used TAS at this height.
