You do know that you can set the engines from off to idle by lifting the throttle and advance it forward to idle position with the Worthog throttle right (Im guessing TMHW is shourt for Thrustmaster Warthog)?

Ok, if you do not want to use voice, then here is another suggestion. Requires a new peice of hardware though. Get one of these: https://www.razer.com/eu-en/gaming-keyboards-keypads/razer-tartarus-pro?utm_source=google&utm_medium=search-brand&utm_campaign=_RS_TXN_BTM_EU__TR&gclid=CjwKCAjw7-P1BRA2EiwAXoPWA9mYrElnNkGMAKzRKwXvQC5Mu0nq5prvG6QqnT28_UTtNaOyY25eKhoCFRsQAvD_BwE I have programmed all the function keys to it plus the button for the com menu and reset VR position. Just place it next to you throttle. It is not any more difficult to use then the switches on your throttle as long as you do not move it around all the time.

How far did you get in the installation procedure? -
Jester: (BADLY NEEDED?) Command to go TWS Manual / Auto?
SWE-Timberwolf replied to Bearfoot's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Have you guys tried to use the Voice Attack addon AI Rio? When you have that you do not need to use the radial manu at all. Just click you Voise Attack button and tell Jester what you want him to do. -
A-10 Warthog 2 - cueing system question
SWE-Timberwolf replied to hololight's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
If we are getting HMCS in the A-10C 2, would it be likely that it would be able to carry AIM-9X as well then? -
I do not think it has much affect on FPS. I would not lower it as it makes the displays harder to read. But the simplest way is just to test it.

Thank you!!

Hi! Is it possible to buy the F-14 on steam and convert it to the standalone version?

Latest Windows updates possibly causing issues
SWE-Timberwolf replied to Blindman's topic in General Bugs
Tried to uninstall KB4532693 and it seemed to solve the issue for me. DCS now seems to start normally. At least until windows installs the KB again. -
Hi! I do not know which map has the most training missions for the Viper as I usually create my own. But both maps are fun to fly in. Although PG is better looking then NTTR.

Who else has tried flying to the edge of space?
SWE-Timberwolf replied to CheckGear's topic in DCS 2.9
I have done this in the Su-33. Set your fuel to 50% in the mission editor. Takeoff and reach 10.000 meters (32k ft). Then go to max throttle (afterburner) and increase altitude slowly to around 11.000 - 12.000 meters (39K ft). Stay level and accelerate as much as you can before you get a bingo fuel warning, then go to a steep climb and you should get to around 80.000ft or higher. Here is a link to a video, so you can see how to do it. In this one I reached an altitude of 91.867ft, or 28001m. -
Request: Square/rectangular trigger zones
SWE-Timberwolf replied to Mr_sukebe's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Only problem I don't know how to script it. I don't suppose you know any good places where you can learn how to do this? -
Request: Square/rectangular trigger zones
SWE-Timberwolf replied to Mr_sukebe's topic in DCS Core Wish List
It would also be nice if you were able to draw your own shape. Maybe even have an altitude option, for example the trigger zone begins at 3000ft and ends at 10000ft. -
No need fot tht kind of comment, I only had time to test if it worked or not. I can help you troubleshoot if you want but not until I have gotten my kids to bed. But as most others already said, post a track file so we can see what is happening.
-
Hi! Just tested it, mine works fine.

Which direciton? VR or TrackIR+HOTAS for A10C?
SWE-Timberwolf replied to wagdog's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Depends on what you mean with a good experience. I user a Rift S with a GTX 1080 and I am quite happy with the experience. But it would definitely be a better experience if I had an RTX 2080TI. -
You need to chagne th eline in the lua file to this (just an example): {"F18C_BORT_NUMBER_NOSE_kuw_L_01", DECAL ,"empty",true}; use "empty" instead of the file name for the bort numbers and true to indicate that the file is not located in the same directory as the dds files for the skin. You can download my skin to VFA-154 Black Knights and look at the lua file if you want, link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303204/

The 2 aircrafts I have had most problems with is Viggen and F-14B. I did a test after installing the patch and Viggen seems to work but there is till problems with the F-14B even if it actually worked better than before.

SWE-Timberwolf replied to frixon28's topic in F/A-18C
The BDU Splinter skin for the F/A-18C is ready. I have uploaded it to the user files just now. So it will probably take a day or two before it is available. -

I could do it, however it will have to wait until ED releases the template files.
