  1. You have seen this adapter, right? http://realsimulator.com/html/tusba.html
  2. Could you guys take this to PM or the off topic forums.
  3. Something I hope makes it way to the Hornet as well. Both aircraft could utilized the catm-120s.
  4. So with low to no supply and high demand, now is a good time to be selling a HOTAS Cougar.
  5. Imagine working on them. Something is changing all the time.
  6. Usually I'm not a holiday person, but this year I can not wait until Christmas. By that time the Viper will be teased a lot, and it will probably be close to EA release, if it wasn't released earlier. :pilotfly:
  7. They do easily unscrew and swap out. The TM F/A-18 grip that is in development does exactly that. The old TM Cougar stick unscrewed as well, heck the F-16 grip from the TM Cougar, mounts just perfectly on the TM Warthog and vice versa. :joystick:
  8. Not a simple profile, but here is a very neat project for the KA-50. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=189194
  9. The thing I find hilarious in this whole argument is that some kept throwing around the PACAF SCL with the JSOW in 2003. Clearly they have no military service, otherwise they would know what a SCL is, and why it is developed. Here's the thing, they said the JSOW is on the list and demanded the JSOW. Guess what isn't on the list and no one hasn't said anything.... 6x65s (6A65) with LAU-88. Guess what else isn't on there....4x65s (4A65). :pilotfly: Second armchair quarterbacks find images of aircraft configured with 6x65s and throw that around. What they don't know is the story of that image. Aircraft all have a story, those of us who have been around the jets long enough know a test bird when we see it. Every single image that shows 6x65s or 4x65s is a test jet. TEST where flight testing is performed and determined whether or not something should be operationally tested. Edwards is the home to that flight testing, and their tail flashers are ED or blank. Every image has a ED or blank tailcode.Operational testing is done by Eglin test and they have tailcodes ET, OT.
  10. The A-10C did in fact carry triple 65s in combat.
  11. Technical Orders are the manuals that tells me how to operate said equipment, and how to fix it when things go wrong. However, a lot of the books are still broken down with C / CG/ CJ. The flight manual and a few others have the combined CM designation. Also the JSOW is on the list of weapons again.
  12. Not to steal the question from MVSGas. Dumb bombs only on 4 and 6. Station isn't wired for video / smart munitions.
  13. Yes, nearly 20 years with combine service between active duty and contractor. Won't pretend to know everything on the F-16, if I don't know the answer I'll try to find the answer or otherwise say so. If I do know it, I'll post it. The LAU-88 and triple 65s was a hot topic back in 2005 when I was heavily into Falcon 4 AF.
  14. I've always said that F-16.net isn't reliable, because it is the car salesman, PR source, not the cold hard facts.
  15. Curious, do you work on the F-16? Not insulting your knowledge or your source, but what I wrote in the your quote is fact for F-16 since 2001 and to date.
  16. Need a little cross service rivalry going.
  17. In 2008, the only airframe that carried it (besides the boat people) was the F-22A.
  18. You guys know you don't have to switch the dial on the CDU. You can skip that, and place the UFC in that mode by pressing FUNC and then the UFC number 7, 8, 9 depending on which mode you want. 7: FPLAN 8: MARK 9: MSN Same thing can be done with WAYPT, STEER, and POS, but that is with FUNC then HACK, 0, or SPC.
  19. Nah, I only stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.:megalol:
  20. I should correct, the 2007 Viper does have that ability, I'm sure the one in DCS will as well.
  21. Yes. EDIT, 2007 Viper has the ability, likely the DCS Viper will as well.
  22. Just saw it within the last year, it is part of the Weapons School agenda every 6 months.
