I make my own, so I can have what I want on what switch I want.
-
Just save the profile inside of DCS. Name it Hornet vs Hawg, and when you want to switch, just select the column under the Stick and select Load Profile.

There are two modes: ATC Cruise and ATC Approach

FA-18C Aggressors BFM Campaign
=Panther= replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in F/A-18C Aggressors BFM Campaign
Look at the post directly above yours for the solution. -
I think I skipped a step, I wasn't near the PC with the throttle when I wrote the response and again not near it as well. Right clicking the throttle, then select game controller ... something. Then the advance option should show up. Worse case, take a screen shot on the right click menu and post it here, if I don't get back with the detailed steps later today.

Getting a good start and tips regarding PC specs?
=Panther= replied to FlyingVamp's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
If the aircraft is set up in a way that allows average joe access to the cockpit, great measures are put in place to prevent any stupidity, including making the seat cold. -
They fit nice and are comfortable, and they will fit the trackir pro clip. Regarding sound, I'm not a sound nut, with that said I like the sound quality, and they do block a lot of external sounds. Wore them during trade shows, where the floor is rather loud at times.

Try setting the Warthog Throttle the priority in Windows. Go to Devices and Printers, then right click on the throttle. Select Advanced from the window, and from the drop down select the throttle. Click okay and see if that fixes your issue.

Any aircraft can land on a carrier, although probably not in a good way. The Viper will not be able to take off from the carrier.

Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!
=Panther= replied to Wedge's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yeah I still have it, just a momentarily disco, followed by a micro pause and then everything is back to normal. -
Interesting...

Funny considering the SMEs have stated it isn't realistic but oh well.

PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller

Ops tempo is higher for just one unit. So it’s not really noticeable, when it really hits is during the Weapons School exercise for graduations.- 3421 replies

Reported Super Hornet Crash/Star Wars Canyon
=Panther= replied to Phantom88's topic in Military and Aviation
It impacted the rim of Star Wars Canyon at the Father Crowley Overlook, injuring 7 tourist. Pilot status is unknown. Star Wars Canyon aka Rainbow Canyon is a prime low altitude navigation training area. -
Me personally would like to see the HTS have a higher priority over the TGP.
-
Do as mentioned above, ending the FAST Service. Then locate all of the .exe in the Thrustmaster installation directory, and set them to run as admin. Secondly, end the task "Microsoft Store" prior to running a profile in either the GUI or the Script Editor.

PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller
=Panther= replied to MilesD's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have noticed something the last few flights, and I'm not sure where the issue may lie. So the left point ctrl device seems to grab hold of the switch and not release it. Best seen when operating the Hornet UFC, I can see the button remains depressed on the UFC even though I have physically released the button on the device. I'm not able to actually reproduce the issue, it is rather intermittent. The right one doesn't do this, and it has started to come natural for me to interact with the UFC with my right hand versus using my left (throttle hand). Is this a hardware issue, or can it be resolved with firmware? Not really sure what the underlining issue is, but it sort of seems like a debouncing issue?- 3421 replies

What route does the HMS USB cord take to your PC? I recommend directly connecting it to the PC for a firmware update, if you wasn't already doing that. If it is already connected to the PC without no HUBs in between, I don't have any ideas and would refer to MilesD.- 3421 replies

Watched a mass launch LFE at Nellis all taxi back due to drastic weather conditions deteriorate rapidly. Some had already gotten airborne, who had to divert else where.

Rammount is what I used, basically bought a 6' arm, a lower attachment (varies because I don't know your setup, I'm in an Obutto so it bolted right on to the center spline), and then a iPhone 6+ X-grip. https://www.rammount.com/shop-all/top-solutions/phone-mounts

There is an axes limit if you combined the controllers into one device, blame windows... If you are not running target, you can map them all in DCS under each heading for the device. If you must use Target, I would exclude the rudders from the profile so you can have the HOTAS axes and the rudders without the limit.
-
Need to update TARGET then, because it certainly does work. Also if you're on windows 10, ensure you set the .exe in the TM to run as admin, and kill the Microsoft Store from the Task Manager.
