Elgato Stream Deck as configurable button box
=Panther= replied to Ranma13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Dang I was hoping the install directory would solve the issue. Running as admin is my last guess. I personally didn't have success with that, as I use SD for more than just DCS. Some programs (OBS, TIR, etc) didn't like being ran as admin. -
Check to see if your Communications tab under Sound Properties has anything other than "Do Nothing" checked. Right click speaker icon in taskbar, select sounds and then Communications.

Elgato Stream Deck as configurable button box
=Panther= replied to Ranma13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You can blame Microsoft for this issue. I suspect your issues is due to Microsoft thinking you are causing harm to your pc. Uninstall the software for elgato stream deck, reinstalling it in some location other than C:/Program Files. For example mine is located on my D:/Software. I think you will have success with it once you have moved the directory. Good luck. -
DCS: F-16CM Block 50 by EDSA Discussion Thread
=Panther= replied to NineLine's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Yes you may get the fuel out, but not guaranteed: Minimize Fuel Flow -- reduce Throttle Air Refuel Switch -- Confirm CLOSE Air source knob -- Confirm in NORM or DUMP TEMP knob - MAN and adjust for conform -This will increase the available ECS air pressure available for Externals Tank Inerting switch to Tank Inerting (on combat loaded airframes, this will blow the HALON bottle.) EXT FUEL Trans switch to Wings First ENG feed is NORM Stick - perform +/- 2G oscillations Open Aerial refueling door for 1 second and then close (if at step 2 the door was discovered open, skip this step.) Monitor external fuel tank quantity, it can vary on the amount of time it can take to correct the imbalance / trapped fuel. 1-3 minutes if a full centerline, around 12 minutes or greater for three external configurations. If the trapped fuel is discovered with Reservoir tank is less than full or Fuel Low Lights is on, sufficient external fuel transfer is unlikely to correct the malfunction. The remaining fuselage fuel is the only usable fuel, and should land immediately. Last note, if trapped fuel occurred after inflight refueling, descend below the freezing to unfreeze the valves (unlikely a scenario for DCS) but it's common in the real Viper. -

Here is my "did you know" for the day. The primary means of fuel transfer is not by boost pump pressure, but it is by siphon. -
Thanks!! Very much appreciated.

For DCS that’s correct, for real world that’s a topic not discussed.

Are you sure you loaded AGM and not the TGM variant?

NOTE: The flashlight batteries do die, but they are good for an entire start-up sequence. You can also change the color from white to green. ;)

Warthog Throttle. New sound and movement. How normal is this?

It is meant to be magnetic, make sure the pin is all the way end, and not flush or protruding.- 14 replies

My bad regarding the number of grounds, I was going off of memory. C and D allows for the arms to raise up. There is a tiny spring under that cover. As you raise the arms, watch the slack in that rainbow ribbon.- 14 replies

If it is full burner, look for finger lifts in the key commands. The hornet has physical finger lifts that need to lift to disengage the AB. You can disable this under options for the hornet.

The magnetic pin could be the cause, I'll check my throttle later and will report back. My is a very low number serial number, so it has a few hours on it.- 14 replies

=Panther= replied to -0303-'s topic in Thrustmaster
Supporting the throttle upside down, remove the lower base plate and weighted plate if still installed. Paying attention to the ground wire that is in the one corner as you will want to ensure you get that back in place during reassembly. Ground wire rest on the threaded hole for the screw, and the bottom plate will bond the ground once the screws are tighten again. With the plate off, the lower throttle arms are revealed, inspect for lose screws that may have backed out. The throttle arms are not connected to one another, they are on they own track. You can remove each arm from their tracks back removing the small plate and two screws (note there is a small spring behind that plate (serves as the detent spring). Gently pull the throttle up from the upper switch side to reveal some more screws along the throttle arms. With that movement and click, I would guess that something has loosen up and is catching on the other track.- 14 replies

Installation Copy the Scripts folder into your DCS Saved games folder. Usage Toggle the scratchpad with CTRL+Shift+X Use Esc to remove the textfield focus, but keep the scratchpad open -
Public eSports motorsports competition versus a private meet and greet between the Red Arrows and Virtual Red Arrows. eSports has a massive following drawing in a crowd, potentially new customers, big sponsors (just look at the poster in the background, the equipment (monitors, computers, the stuff that isn't in house to Thrustmaster) is usually loaned out to vendors in big events as well.

Don't calibrate the hotas with windows, it screws it up with DCS. I don't know why, but everyone who has issues has done that very thing. Go back into the calibration window and click the default restore or what ever that button is that un-does the calibration. If you need to calibrate, use the TM official calibration software.

It has the same amount of buttons as the warthog stick.

Rocker is probably a better description, forward, back, and depress.
