  1. What are the coordinates you were trying to enter? I had an issue, I solved it by changing the seconds to a smaller value. In my case the value was 60, changed it to 59.
  2. LOL yeah it will be nice to have legit F-16C. Regarding the fuel system, hell even the own jet doesn't work the greatest. It won't be a perfect module without a slow to feed external, FWD or AFT heavy, or generator failure. :megalol:
  3. Recommend reviewing Chuck's guide. Especially on the cockpit setup, and carrier take off bits. Should help you narrow down your issues. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q2vH0WLm5mdu2U3GX8AkB1z6iIP-I_sF/view
  4. I see tracks all the time on the ground. Not sure why though.
  5. Yeah, I blame ED for forcing me away from Sim Racing, haven't raced in a while.:pilotfly:
  6. Viper 2019!! :pilotfly::joystick:
  7. Resolved, for whatever reason there was a task “user interface” running despite countless reboots and not launching DCS besides running dcs updater. Would be helpful if the error actually would say what was really going on. Typically see DCS in task manager but never seen this “user interface”.
  8. Need some serious help here, since the last two build releases my install gets destroyed by the updater. It starts deleting “obsolete” files which are not, once it’s done I’m left with a broken install that won’t repair itself because the key components are gone. Attached is a screen shot of the error. I’ll post the log momentarily if I can grab it remotely. autoupdate_log.txt
  9. 1. I need to watch the track to understand what is happening. 2. Have you caged the HUD? By description it almost sounds like the HUD is indicating winds. You can add a little rudder to see if it centers back. If so, then you need to CAGE the HUD to center it. Look for CAGE in the controls. 3. For what ever reason, all rudder pedals start off reversed. You need to click the AXIS tune, and click the check mark for Invert. Regarding half input, if that problem exist after inverting, open windows control panel and select the device, and calibrate. BUT DON"T calibrate, click reset calibration and see if that solves your half input.
  10. Or if you eject, the AIB comes and confiscates your computer and all hardware used to fly. You won't get it back until the 180D investigation is over.
  11. CND on the ground, write-up IFOC DUE. :megalol:
  12. Maybe in the sim there’s likely no ice, but I do know it gets cold at some the altitudes these fighters fight in Nevada. Leaned on a 370 gallon fuel tank to debrief a pilot discrepancy and it was ice cold. Meanwhile the outside temp was rather warm, certainly above ground ice levels. Fun fact the discrepancy was because the fuel system got too cold and froze the externals. (Not related to engine icing but wanted share the real Nevada experience.
  13. The same button you have set to disable NWS is the AP disconnect switch, also referred to as the paddle switch.
  14. Definitely holds entertaining value.
  15. Try to press and hold the ENT for a second, see if you have any different outcome.
  16. If flow is shutoff, the mask is sealed and will not allow outside (cabin) air. Sadly happened to a backseater in a Viper in 2006. He started to breathing rapidly causing onset of hypoxia. Pilot instructed him to gang load his O2. At some point he turned off flow, instead of going 100% oxygen. :(
  17. Go into Special tab in the options and uncheck AB detent.
  18. Yes, I did fly the Hornet with the glove. The demo was with the glove acting as the stick. I had no issues with it in the 5 minute flight around the PG. Glove doesn't require huge movements, to fly the aircraft. Small movements were the key to flying with it.
  19. I think I did a very similar impression, yet not recorded this time. Very cool technology on the horizon, just need to get the stuff incorporated into the software so it can be fully utilized.
  20. Be sure to say hey when you stop by the booth.:joystick:
  21. Thanks!! Very useful.

  23. Padlock which is either numlock or kp. I can't remember if I remapped to that though. Look for padlock in the views column.
  24. Tanking isn't nearly as hard as I first imagine, had some quick disco but reconnected just as fast. However, had a surprise with the tanker last flight, he decided he wanted to take his ball and go home. https://clips.twitch.tv/AstuteResilientElephantOSsloth
  25. Double check that your toe brakes are not reversed. I think the controller overlay is R-CTRL and Return, but it may be R-shift and Return. Open that while in the cockpit and do a controls check, the toe brakes shouldn't be at the top when your feet are off the brakes. If they are reversed, open controls, and select the toe brakes axis, and select the invert.
