I wasn’t having any issues but last flight I started having some issues. I took my rift off to look at the desktop post flight and noticed that the desktop mirror was full screen (normally leave it as the default). So those who are having issues, are you maximizing the desktop mirror??

The tank would need a heat source in order to ignite the fuel. A jettison tank will not on its own explode. Witness a scenario with hot brakes, that caught fire and then cooked off the fuel tank. Sent the nose cone of the 370g a pretty good distance.

I'm with you, I guess a short list of pilots with no issues as described. Although I do get the hard lock on exiting a mission / server, which results in no track files saving. Haven't did any adjustments in the controller mapping, and don't plan on it.

That's a trick question, how it is really done is via DTC. Since we don't have that, we have a lot of tools available in the cockpit. No clue on how ED further plans to enable the editing of the EW stuff.
-
On the ground I suspect? For whatever reason, you can't adjust anything on the EW page while weight is on wheels. If in air, I don't know because you have done the steps exactly to turn on power.

Seen several pre-orders confirmed to have received them. The work well with DCS, very precise smooth rudder control. I don't use any curves, deadzones, etc straight out of the box with no tweaks. Like with all rudders for some odd reason in DCS, you will need to check the invert option though, otherwise the brakes are always on until you physically press the toebrakes.

You will need to assign the commands. If you want the Master Caution to illuminate, you will need their "Raygun" application.
-
I would start with your saved games folder, that is where the keybind stuff is, not the game installation folder.

Well that's funny because I have un-mapped the NUM5 from the controls and mapped to something else as mentioned. I also use the keypad for UFC, and fly with a VR headset. I have had this configuration for nearly a year now. When I press the NUM5 my view doesn't recenter, my UFC 5 presses both in BETA and STABLE. Maybe a reinstall is in order.

This has been an option long before the hornet released. Go to the UI settings for VR in the controllers section, and reassign the KP5 to what ever you want it to be. For example I reassign mine to Warthog Paddle + CMS Z.

Battery switch is a three position switch, middle being the official... I mean off mode (inside joke with real aviation, not making fun of it here). Just verify you have it correct, beyond that a more accurate description and a track can help a lot.

I have the Obutto R3Volution so I used this on the center mount: https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-247U-4 with the 9" arm: https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-201U-D and finally the X-Grip: https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-UN10BU

Is is the racing seat that we used for the demo at E3, just had the 'racing' bits removed for the flight demo. The distance to pedals didn't move, the seat was adjusted forward and backwards.

If you're in the air, the APU shouldn't be on. If so either make sure your controls are set to off if you have APU switch mapped to controller. Or if that isn't the case, the mission needs to be updated to have the APU in the off state on loading.

No I understand you correctly, and I was wrong. Although I was pretty confident my system stopped with the same press the other day. I just loaded in the jet for a quick test, and the program will not stop. However I did find a rather quick way to stop it if needed. On the EW page, press the button for MODE and cycle to select STBY. It will stop the program, but don't forget to reset to your previous MODE.

Goggles in the control options.

At night, during landing, how to light up landing runway on carrier?
=Panther= replied to bin801's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Not sure if that is an option (yet), assuming you did call ATC/Inbound. -
Press the same button again that you pressed to start it. Don't know if that is the realistic proper way, but it currently works.

Noticed some weakness from my Jetseat, so I cut into it (non AM version) to apply the silicon spray. Immediately noticed a difference, but I lost a motor in the process. Can the motors be local sourced in the States? I don't believe I'm within my warranty, but again I don't really recall how long the warranty was good for. I know the seat is just over a year owned.

Nah it’s a block 50, Thunderbirds fly Block 52s.

It better have a tail hook!
