  1. +1 , best quote in this thread :-)
  2. Thanks for replying guys Is anyone from Razbam out there ? Does anyone from Razbam answer posts in this forum ?
  3. You swap out the suspected wrecked CPU for another known working one (of similar spec - socket/generation) PC boots with replacement CPU , means your original CPU was wrecked PC doesnt boot with replacement CPU , your mobo could be wrecked or something else might be duff
  4. I went for the Zotac 1080TI AMP edition, I liked the 5 year warranty (just in case)
  5. anyone got an answer to my question ?
  6. AlexandrT Looks great, how are sling loads looking in the MP environment ? They have been pretty bad with versions higher than 1.5.6
  7. dang only seen that now and have missed it Must set PVR for 0400 tues
  8. memtest from windows is not reliable, had it pass fine then fail the proper CD one 32G of RAM will take a long time to test properly, I left mine running overnight for a total of 16 hours
  9. Well if I had any crashing problems on anything I would run some PC tests to be sure 1. run core temp for monitoring and run intel burn test for 10 runs 2. Run memtest (http://www.memtest.org/) version runs from usb / CD You could possibly have a RAM issue only apparent with DCS because DCS might use more RAM than most other programs so only it hits the effected area
  10. The whole game froze ? Does any other game or program cause this problem ?
  11. Hi, So does a dedicated server only host (not actually playing or flying just hosting for benefit of others) have to have the harrier module for the USS Tarawato be present/useable ?
  12. With my 8700K I have no stuttering on DCS when flying DCS 2 using windows 7 64bit
  13. Thanks for the reply Fri13, still holding out hope for an offical Razbam response I had a read through the manual and check out what is missing/not done yet % are derived from working items in system / total items in system So from the averaging of them 48.6% complete at early access The real % is only known to Razbam, hopefully they will respond if this is an error Just looking for acurate numbers HUD The following controls are not available on initial Early Access release: HUD Symbology Brightness, FLIR Video Controls, MPCD display swap. These controls will be available on subsequent updates. 3/5 = 60% UFC Modes and Functions On initial Early Access release, only the following UFC functions/modes are available: TCN, AWL, V/STOL, LASER Code, COM1 & COM2. The remaining functions/modes will be activated in subsequent updates. 5/9 = 56% In the initial Early Release version only the following pages are available: FLIR, EHSD, DMT, STRS, ENG, TPOD and EW. All other pages will become available on subsequent updates. 7/20 = 35% INS In the initial Early Release version, the INS will always be pre-aligned. Alignment options are not available until further notice. 1/6 = 17% Comms On initial Early Access release only the UFC mode is available. MAN mode will be enabled on subsequent upgrades. 3/4 = 75% Targeting On initial Early Access release only the UFC mode is available. MAN mode will be enabled on subsequent upgrades. The ARBS/DMT sensor mode will be subject to modifications/upgrades after the initial Early Release. Such changes will be informed in due time. NAVFLIR cool down time is not enabled in initial Early Access release. The system will be enabled in subsequent updates. NAVFLIR The real NAVFLIR hotspot detector has more features and options that cannot be simulated on DCS. One of these features is sensibility. The real NAVFLIR hotspot detector will detect ALL temperature differentials which creates many false readings. Unfortunately, it is not possible to simulate such sensibility in DCS, so the hotspot detector is limited to detection of active vehicles (AI or player controlled vehicles). The hotspot detector in DCS will not mark buildings or scenery objects. NAVFLIR Hotspot Detector is not available on initial Early Access release. The system will be enabled in subsequent updates. NAVFLIR cool down time is not enabled in initial Early Access release. The system will be enabled in subsequent updates. TDC Action/No Action modes along with TDC axis command are not available in the initial Early Release version. They will be made operational in subsequent releases. DMT TV All AV-8B NA video displays use green, not grey. Due to a DCS limitation we have been forced to use greyscale. The video output will be changed to green as soon as the texture is available in DCS. Currently the ARBS/DMT TV Mode cannot lock to moving targets. This is still under review. This option may or may not be available in the future depending on available documentation. The ARBS/DMT sensor mode will be subject to modifications/upgrades after the initial Early Release. Such changes will be informed in due time. Weapons MANUAL delivery mode is not enabled in initial Early Access release. It will be enabled in subsequent releases. UFC and ODU weapons programming is not available in the initial Early Access release. It will be enabled in subsequent releases. DSL(1) (manual) delivery mode is not enabled in initial Early Access release. It will be enabled in subsequent releases. The AGM-122A Sidearm is still under development and at initial Early Release has a low hit probability. The missile reliability will be upgraded in subsequent upgrades. DCS does not allow the jettison of special pods like the LITENING II. Be prepared for Asymmetrical flying. ED will solve this problem in the future, at which time special pod jettison will be available.

  20. Surface book 2 by any chance ? https://www.engadget.com/2017/11/21/surface-book-2-battery-charging-gaming-issues/
  21. Not enough FPS sadly, that is why after just over a week I returned it I have a 3440 x 1400 Gsync screen, and it ran DCS fine, the Gsync hides the frame rate changes very well, but when using the Rift when the FPS drops it is very noticable. The resolution just isnt high enough for something so close to your eyes, a friend warned me before I bought it as he works in software dev and had tried both rift and vive. He said it wasnt ready yet and I agree with him. It was very hard to spot anything at distance eg trying to ID ground targets to attack was really hard, same with spotting aircraft. I will say though that the 3D effect when flying in a heli low to the ground was great, so much so that the first hard turn I did I thought I was going to puke (trick is to tilt your head into turns) I gave it a shot and found it wanting, I am just glad I was able to get a full refund. Another mate bought one and he hardly ever uses it for DCS
  22. thanks for taking the time to do that Mike Still holding out that Razbam will answer with a definitive simple % value After all they are creating that Harrier and I am sure that they have a requirements list and know how many are ticked off as complete so far
  23. thanks for replying, I really appreciate you taking the time to post Anyone care to read the 114 pages and tell me what % is not implemented yet ? Or could someone from Razbam care to comment, that would be great
