would love to do forest fire operations in DCS , a few things added to the game engine and we could code it ourselves

It is certainly dead in MP, hardly anyone uses it Personally I did not buy it because of the Assets pack (which should have been a free part of the core game usable on every map) Maybe when the dedicated server appears things will be different, time will tell

fixed in dcs.log Error: Chunk is not present: l10n/DEFAULT/Title Picture.jpg also changed audio to ogg , which is much much smaller A10C Frog Harbour.miz

I am so glad I never bought Normandy, it is a ghost town in MP plus having to pay for non playable assets does not help the situation Plus if I wanted to host a dedicated MP for others to play on I would have to buy Normandy AND the assets pack ... which aint gonna happen I guess in the Autumn (hopefully this year, the dedi exe will appear)

Proper dedicated server exe allow as many instances as the server can support, hopefully ED will follow this path as well

hopefully it is not a Hitachi or Toshiba drive

check your DCS audio settings? and also windows audio levels for dcs.exe or normalise to a higher value and retry

erm, just to point out IF you slingload a crate to the deck of a ship AND the shp is moving it will stay staionary at the set down point as the ship moves which will damage your chopper and leave a hovering crate as the ship moves away

you can do this with junction link points, check out the mlink dos command

NVMe m.2 would be my choice for OS / gaming drives I would use a standard AIO water cooler eg nzxt kraken, will do the job 32G of 3866 RAM would be a better buy Zotac 1080TI of some type would be my choice (5 year warranty)

Yeah windows 10 , bestest version of windows because the # is bigger than the rest I cannot wait until windows 11 comes out so I can use the spinal tap joke of "this one goes to 11" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Up_to_eleven It is a pity that ED have not yet worked out what some other companies have in how to hook/unhook from trackir software eg in another univserse I play a game called amra3 and IF i forgot to start trackir software up and launch the game I can start trackir software later and in game toggle it off and on and hey presto it works Best solution I have for DCS is to start it with a batch file that kills trackir software then restart trackir software then launches the game The reason I have a kill then start for trackir is because DCS crashes and if a game crashes while hooked to trackir software you need to restart it before it will work I will post my batch file later

yeah DCS patches seem to f**k up the equipment lists (they added stuff which screws the order up breaking things) , I will try to have a look at it later today hopefully Thanks for the feedback
