This was one old naive idea, fortunately, it was discarded, Nvidia has support for Multi-View Rendering in Turing and Single Pass Stereo in Pascal, why ED doesn't want to implement this is an incognita. The official answer was that ED wants to be platform agnostic, I call it mediocrity. Unity is implementing a similar technique and not limited to Nvidia. Unreal Engine and Unity are using Hybrid Monoscopic Rendering to accelerate Oculus GO and Quest with very good results. VR is already there, we only need developers to move to the next level. We should observe that the game is heavy CPU bounded, maybe they should start fixing that. The whole experience will improve and not only for VR players.

  5. The only thing we need is Leap Motion integration in DCS, it will be fast and easier for everyone, the only problem as always is ED (limited resources). The resources required shouldn't be more than one week one man.

  8. I already asked for up, down, enter and back input selection commands for radio menus around one year ago but no response from developers. I have Voice Attack but it is not an option for me (family sleeping) plus half of the time it doesn't work correctly. The idea of a radial menu is good but, the current implementation in VR is not very practical, it occupies the whole screen and if you open it while not looking at the center of the screen then you can not recenter it. It rushed implementation I will say.

  16. I have mine over the door frame in front of me, but for a long time I used it mounted over the monitor with a universal camera to monitor click, and you only need one base station for simulators.
