  3. The graphical glitches should be caused because they are using a simple camera frustum instead of the combined from the two cameras.

Actually, if you look around the edges of the screen, the image is very blurry and only on the center (sweet spot) the image is well defined, this is why in VR you move your head to watch around and not only your eyes (as in real life). In Oculus this sweet spot is bigger than Vive and Vive Pro.

  6. The problem running 45 is that if the mission adds a couple of units the fps drops to ~32 and under 45 fps AWS or motion smooth or whatever technology is disabled and you will start to be sick. I'm sick of reading, so many excuses why we don't have better performance. Why do other flight simulators have much better performance than DCS? IL2, Aerofly FS2, even Prep 3d has solid 90 why not DCS is it because this game is too REAL and reality sucks? Made your jobs and I will put my money in otherwise ... milkojohns, For your information, I have a freaking monster machine and DCS is one of the fewer games that sucks on performance. I show my love for the developers putting money on it.

  12. the touch controller has two mini stick (Xbox style) and I am guessing the quality is better than the one in the warthog., One could map this mini stick to any other device input using SteamVR input map tool or VJoy or whatever (many options)
  13. StarVR is out of business and VRginiers are selling only a overprice piece of "Professional Tag". For me, any company using the "PRO tag" is a not go, same shit with HTC. Pro Tag only means we are not good enough engineers to reduce production cost or we need the money desperately. I am not saying that Pimax is the best experience but for the price (kickstarts price) is far better value. By the way, I remember the three VR musketeer talking about VRginiers, StarVR, and Pimax and they clearly affirmed that Pimax was the best option for the price.

  17. Yes and no, the engine could use a single Draw call for both eyes, see Single pass stereo rendering shader and VRWorks - Single Pass Stereo. Prep3D use something similar and the fps rise to solid 90 from ~35.
  18. I have some problems with VA recognizing the commands, so I recorded in Windows Speech Recognition's dictionary the numbers from 1 to 12 and now my inbound command is 1, 1(or whatever airport number), 1.
