  1. As @=36=Witcher said, this is an export variant. I can only assume, but the LASER switch is probably to arm the laser of the TGP. There is also a TV/ RDR switch on the VTB, probably to switch the video source. This PPA with laser switch and VTB with TV/ RDR seem to be standard on export Mirage 2000E, even if the country didn't fit TGP in the Mirage. For instance, you can find these switches on Mirage 2000EG like this VTB.
  2. With the limited amount of internal fuel (3165kg on standard day) and the generous use of after burner, you can expect the plane to start up at 100% fuel. But "start up + taxi + take off" generally cost about 200kg of fuel.
  3. In my experience, if you let MiG-25 or MiG-31 at subsonic speed, they are disappointing. But if you set them at M2.0 or M2.5, they can give you a run for your money
  4. Yes, that's what I mean. It doesn't seem to come as standard with TACAN in DCS. So maybe 3rd parties have go extra miles to make this work ?
  5. Thanks, I didn't know, I don't own this module !
  6. This seems to be a missing feature of radio navigation functions within DCS. While TACAN can't give bearing to a VOR station and a VOR receiver can't guide to a TACAN station, the DME (Distance Measuring Equipment) function is the same. So by using pairing channel, a fighter equipped with a TACAN but not civilian DME should still be able to get distance to a DME or VOR-DME beacon. I tried with both Aerges Mirage F1 and Razbam M-2000C, it doesn't work. I think it should be part of core DCS World TACAN simulation. https://www.flightsim-corner.com/wp-content/uploads/VOR-Frequencies-to-TACAN-Channel-list.pdf
  7. Mirage F1 wing has negative dihedral to maintain high roll rate, like Alpha Jet. And the spoiler + aileron configuration was quite common on jets from the 1970's...
  8. Half flaps on take off only if you're slick. Full flaps on landing.
  9. For landing…TBH I need to practice more too. For the take off, I agree the nose is stuck down before 140-150kt even if light. But it’s early access.
  10. But I like the possibility to work around by manually renaming the flights Also it seems that I have less CTD if I export the pages one by one, which is OK. You did such a good job for the Hornet that I wish it would work to full extent (bingo and joker) for each modules (like M-2000C and Mirage F1CE) It does compute Bingo for M-2000C, but I assume it to be Hornet values ?
  11. Please, can you give us some news about ALT1 and ALT2 failures ? Because it's happening well outside of the manual's chart. If it isn't a bug we need more details about how to avoid it ?
  12. It also retracts combat flaps if deployed So essentially, you have one command to arm/ deploy (depending on speed) and one command to disarm/ retract: both on the throttle. I agree it may looks complicated at first, but it's actually rather simple.
  13. I would als have a small suggestion: I think it would be better to dissociate waypoint ETA and time on station like in Combat Flite. Currently your software combines both and actually only display adjusted ETA but labelled as TOS.
  14. Hi, This is a cool software, however, I'm having a couples of issues. - When saving the .5Js file, the "coordination card" isn't recorded. If I load the file later it's default page. - the selections on "Nav charts" and "Checklits" aren't recorded either. - Mission Data Card: by default, the CALLSIGN fields are populated with DCS .miz flight name, not the callsign. But I can edit manually - The Dual Layout doesn't work. Thanks
  15. Yes, lack of documentation is often the limiting factor
  16. From what I could gather, even French Air Force Mirage F1C in 1974 had gun telemetry. So that's probably missing due to early access and not a lack of the orignal fighter. But it can be difficult to asses because options would change greatly between export customers. AI F-4 Phantom should be a good start for training.
  17. AFAIK, the vertical angle isn't mandatory nor necessary for the bomb to work. If the rocket engine doesn't work, that is a real problem.
  18. As soon as you build up AoA, you need to use rudder to roll and make coordinated turns. With that in mind, it's a very stable aircraft, much more easy than MiG-21. AI Su-25 (like many IA) has kind of an UFO flight model. Tips: use 2 circles combat tactics, best turning speed is 300kt/ 17° AoA. If below 300kt/ M0,75 use combat flat. Speed is very easy to control during the turn. Just take care to not over-G too much at high speed And since it doesn't bleed much energy during a turn, it's easy to overshoot. With stores/ fuel tanks it isn't really fast to accelerate, once you drop, with Fox 2 on wing rails it's OK.
  19. Yes, the very low impact point is a thing on that kind of weapon. On M-2000C with BAP-100 this is a "delayed CCIP", where you have a delay between the moment you press the trigger and the bomb drop !
  20. Just for the record: the computed bombing modes found in the M-2000C are pretty much the same on al Dassault's fighters/ attack aircraft provided with an INS and ranging system since the early 1980's, starting with Super Etendard fielded from 1978 ! To be fair, it's plenty fun and old school to manage your INS drift and you need to put your eyes on target or IP to be able to bomb something. You could expect the same with Mirage F1 EQ... Sure, it's a wet dream to find the necessary data
  21. Guys, on top of setting the detent value, did you tick the box on the left to use the said value ?
  22. That setting gave us the confirmation that by default Aerges set the AB in the middle of the range. It’s a weird choice. With the new option, I cancelled my curve, and by trials and errors I have been able to set the AB on my throttle detent (Virpil CM3) at 85. I also have a dead zone at the beginning for the cut off detent.
  23. For AG, Mirage F1 EQ5 or EQ6 would feel like M-2000C weapon system with targeting pod with laser guided bombs and missilesplus anti-ship and anti-radar missiles. INS, HUD and AG bombing modes would be similar. EQ6 would have the added benefit to get a similar RWR? Off course, you have less thrust, no fly by wire and still not as good radar in AA.
  24. Hi, You need to map: > U + V pushbutton - PUSH > U pushbutton - PUSH > Communication Menu You first use the pushbutton to select the radio you want to use on the SIB box (that's the panel with all volume controls on the left side), and then use Communication Menu to call it on the proper radio. This is how you can use AI com radio. It may sound weird, but on the real aircraft you would do the same, you only have one push to talk (PTT) button on the stick to talk on both radios. Within DCS, that "Communication Menu" button which sounds like an "easy communication " option actually does the trick realistically. There is a PTT command within DCS control, I suppose this is for SRS or DCS VoIP ?
  25. I disagree. Mirage F1 CZ or AZ manual are easier to understand.
