Yo, Deka! Thanks for best and most well made module in DCS history! Awesome and stunning work. Now the issue Since last patch, my Mp3 player has been acting up. When I press PLAY, it plays about two seconds of the song, before it skips to the next track. And so it keeps going through the playlist, playing 2 seconds and then skips to the next, and next and next, until the playlist is complete. Any idéas? Anyone else?

I agree that a 20km threat radius would upset the balance, for a small very hard to detect helicopter. if not only for the fast movers, but it would make operating any of the other helos currently in the sim a nightmare. But - and there's always a but. 20km threat circle and all that - but the factual threat radius would be a lot less, wouldn't it? With only visual spotting and all? And why go all the way? Why not implement the same stingers we already have in game on MANPADS and Avenger etc? Mistral is already on the Gazelle and is comparable, IIRC?

No. There are no AI Mi-24P in DCS world. The one and only one we have is the Mi-24V - chin mounted machine gun turret. In the video you can clearly see the 2x30mm cannons, on the right side of the fuselage. Definitly no Mi-24V

I'm with baaz here. Close to zero problems in any light conditions. When I have, it's usually because I'm out of trim and the nose of the helicopter is drifting. Easy fix

It has never given LA on Unknown radars (no designation next to the diamond on HUD) which includes most EWR radars and some Ships (Molnya) Just override LA and you can launch. No biggie

Although I am not a stranger to pay for upgrades, like the upcoming KA-50 I can't deny that paid visual upgrades is HIGHLY ILLOGICAL. I mean think about it for a minute. I use to take the Paywalled upgrade of the Admiral K as a prime example. The videogame-industry is constantly evolving. Games that we thought looked AMAZING 2011 will look terrible 2021! So if DCS is going to stay around in the next decade - of course they are going to have to upgrade the visuals. With other simulators coming to the market soon, DCS will be left in the dust and look like shit - compared to the others - in five years or less. So the question is. How long can they keep the Admiral K behind that paywall? If we boot ut DCS World in 2025 and if I would not have bought the SC > will they keep that old relic of the Kuznetsov around? in 10 years? 15? Following the logic of constantly evolving graphics fidelity, it is clear that they can not keep graphic overhauls behind a paywall. The modules has to carry them selves and they need to focus on getting new customers to buy the "old" modules - by making them look modern and appealing. Sucking every penny from the ones who already payed seemes to be a short term solution to save a sinking ship. Which we will have to hope that this is not

C802 AKG is not a detriment - it's an asset. As a matter of fact, I would argue the 802AKG is the most useful and effective missile in the game ATM. It can attack pinpoint targets over sea or on land and it's range is unsurpassed. You can target specific ships or sensitive ground tagets, such as radars, commanposts, parked aircraft or whatever you fancy. You can send it towards any SPI created by your radar, HUD or T-pod, or on coordinates input from any exterior source. Learn to use them, and you have a universal superweapon. And as icing on the cake - they are so much fun!

Haven't you guys heard? They want you to buy the F/A-18, F-16 and Supercarrier now! Who cares about the KA-50 or any RedFor aircraft, right?

Make sure you pout the chute switch back into neutral position immediately after cutting it. Switch up to deploy chute. Switch down to cut it. Switch Neutral again.

Since the P-47 is yet to be launched into early access, and they say they will put full focus on the MI-24P not until after the finishing touches have been delivered, seing how long the Early access period is on ED's products (F-16 LOL - F/A-18C LMAO - Yak-52 ROTFLMAO) I predict we will see Mi-24 in early access some time in 2025. #stillbutthurt
