Seem to only have a few Instrument approach procedures for only a few select airports. Limited database
-
Yea seems inconsistent what approaches / arrivals there are. You would think for Sochi there would be a plethora of approaches available. Also seems like issues loading the approaches, following per the manual on the FP setup. Need to work on this further and test. So procedures for URMO - Beslan But not for Sochi ? kinda ironic is it Russian airports only ? Dont understand the logic or the lack of database possibly ?

Greetings. Just picked up the 430. However I try to do as much research on these modules before purchasing them, and frankly Im a little upset if what I have found, or lack of finding is correct. I looked through the Entire BST NS430 Manual and there are a plethora of sections that discuss Instrument approach procedures as well as SIDs/STARs etc. So one of the main reasons of wanting this was to add functionality to many of the aircraft that do not have advanced NAV with the popup 430. I am unable to find any database IAP for any airport in the caucuses as well as nothing being loaded for arrivals or departures section. I figured for the insane length of time the Caucuses map and several years for the 430 being out there would be a database available. Not to mention it discusses them in the manual. Am I wrong and there are approaches for Sochi etc. ? Or is this just something they cut and pasted into the manual and have never added to the map ? Is there a way I can add via a text editor then if there are not ? a configurable .lua with the database ? Thanks EDIT: Seems like there are only a few IA procedures. however you have to build a FP before being able to add them. Secondly does anyone know if we can permanently store user waypoints in the .lua or something similar ?

Finally have it for the SU! Too bad we can't externally edit user wayponts etc with a text editor that would be awesome. Create sids/stars approaches etc.

Can we access the database somehow? As to update and edit info, airport info, approach plates and DB etc?

+1 would also like to know. Or if we need to edit .lua

Any plans for an external waypoint editor / load out selection etc.? Seems like much of it would be possible. Similar to the old Weapons Delivery Planner for BMS. Would be nice to set up packages and ATO's Would be nice to beak as much free from the ME as possible and keep it all externally for mission planning and setup. -
This bug just presented it self today for me as well. GBU-16's and MK-20's . After releasing 3 GBU-16's, had the 4 diagonal lines across HUD Similar to when the weapon arm switch is SAFE. not sure why, I have several remaining stores of different types. Tried cycling master arm, changing stores etc. Was locked in this mode and had no release or weapon information on the HUD. Will try to see if it presents itself again.

Yes belive this is a bug

Separate manual for the Tpod, might be in the TAC 50" , not sure on phone. Razbam has not completed all the functions on the Lantirn Pod yet. One being the LSS. Others are the slave mode and Point track etc, believe HTS is not working anymore either. LSS on the Pod is just another way and feature of the Pod to find and lock laser spots from other sources. Hopefully will have a competed TPOD soon

This problem replicates with some, others not. Still very common. Issue with frame rate and audio clips used I believe. Still the tones you are hearing are not complete or for all rwr instances I believe on the videos I have seen. Still needs attention from Razbam

I believe all you do is press the MK key on the EHSD and it will create a "MarkPoint" over your current position. Button OSB7 on the MCPD. Every time you press it, it will create subsequent markpoints. You can store up to 10. I believe its bugged as if you create several as you cycle through them they always display MK0 for the first several not MK1...MK2....MK3.....MK4... perhaps you can replicate this. Reference NATOPS 23-40 Through 23-43.... 23.9.20 Mark Number Pushbutton If no designation exists, pressing the MK push button stores aircraft present position as a markpoint. The source of the altitude stored in the markpoint is dependent upon sensor validity at the time MK is depressed. With OMNI7.1 andC1+if RALT is valid, aircraft barometricaltitude minus RALT is used. With H4.0 if RALT is valid,GPS altitude minus RALT altitude is used if GPS is cued, otherwise aircraft barometric altitude minusRALT altitude is used.In the absence of valid RALT,the altitude of the current steer to point is used. If a system designation exists withC1+ and H4.0, the calculated designation position is stored in the markpoint when theMK pushbutton is pressed. Only 3 markpoints(1--3)are available with OMNI7.1and C1+.WithH4.0,10 markpoints(0--9)are available. With OMNI 7.1 and C1+, the system initializes the MK pushbutton to MK1 during initial power--up. With H4.0, the system initializes the MK pushbutton to the markpoint number displayed during during the previous shut down(assuming the MSC has not been reloaded, in which case the system initializes toMK0). Each time MK is depressed, position and altitude data is written to the markpoint number displayed above the MK push button, and the markpoint number is incremented. If data exists in the markpoint displayed on the MK pushbutton, and the push button is subsequently depressed, the previously stored data is overwritten with current data.

Thanks for the info, I rarely fly single player offline. I am mostly online and most servers have not entered any waypoints for the AV8 slots. This proves to be an issue when joining servers and trying to create flight plans. I know have no issue with The F18 creating a waypoint 0 then starting to build a FP from there. I will try by first placing a markpoint, then adding subsequent wp from there. Zeus have a bug also at times after building waypoints and selecting multiple Mark points. When scrolling through the Waypoint list I have several Mark Points listed as MKPT 0 and do not list correctly in order or will be missing waypoints in the EHSD with >4 waypoints built from coordinates. Still tryout to find a workaround for building Flight plans on the fly. Also is there not a way to use the SEQ to draw a line connecting waypoints on the EHSD display like the F18? Thanks

Great news. It's nice to hear of more attention and creative strength being brought to the community. I admire your zeal thus far. Best of luck and will be looking forward to what is to come. -
Thanks Frank, I would like to know if this is actually coded into the module ? @Zeus Care to chime in if these limitations and damage model is coded into the Lantirn pod on your module ? If so can it be fixed with replacing the module on rearm or a repair ?

Excellent ! Hoping for a multiplayer setup in the future with continuing campaign. Have to fill that DCampaign from BMS void in my soul -
Well either way I figured looking at total logged time and type in each type was more interesting. I don't really care about KD ratios. Not BF3. It's a Sim. So wanted to know how much time I have. It just sad this has been in the menu and options for a long time. Not given any attention as I see posts from 3 years ago bringing up the same issue. They could easily have a single/miltiplayer split on the logbook as well or separate books. Simulating aviation. Wish they would fix one of the most important things in aviation as well. Your pilot logbook.

Greetings. I have been reading for forums and apparently this is nothing new. Why is the Logbook not registering any flight time in any aircraft in multiplayer. Pretty simple and basic feature. Why does this not get any attention whatsoever in the game. Is ED planning on fixing this bug ? is there a workaround to get it to start recording and logging my time. I pretty much only exclusively fly online and this is very sad as its not working.

Greetings. Still one of my favorite modules. Is there no way to manually lower the gear with a dual HYD failure? Seems kind of borked as I'm sure there is IRL, just as there is with any aircraft with retracting gear. Some means of a backup. I have had no luck. Thanks

If it is another module, I only hope they finish the Harrier before opening another project.

Excellent addition to the community. Appreciate your hard work.
