i5 with a good vga can play almost all latest games. DCS should be no exception.

I tried everything but could not assign the mouse click button to any command. The mouse click button is very crucial for me as I have assigned it to view center in heat of the battle. I use the hatch key to look around and sometimes loose orientation. A simple click brings the view back to center again. :megalol:

Well...when I fly I am too busy in handling radar, Locking targets and avaiding missile. Sorry but I have never noted the time or colors. When u get into a dogfight color is the last thing in your mind. Depending on the time, ground can get yellowish or redish. Nothing to worry about.

There are a lot of factors that can affect the colors. Hardware, software, drivers, monitors etc...you should not pay attention to such minute details untill or unless it creates problems in game play.

Can you please be a little more clear about the problem? The game its self is almost like the pictures. whats your system specifications?

I press the yellow button couple of times then refresh. The servers show up. The green button does nothing u r right. Also check your firewall etc. make sure DCS is in allowed apps list for both private and public.

Press the yellow and green button with the refresh button two three times. and then press refresh. All servers will show up.

Some of the buttons on the subject controller were not being detected in DCS. For example the pinki button, mouse left click button and the button of the scroll wheel button. I tried everything on the programming software, read lots of forums to no use. Then by chance I discovered that If you keep the control panel open, DCS will detect and assign almost all buttons. Here are the steps 1. Go to search bar 2. write usb game controllers. press enter. 3. select the controller properties and just keep the windows opened. Now DCS will pick and assign all buttons except for the little mouse lever. Glad if it helps anyone.

I have x52 which I boought more than 10 years ago. Still working great. Cant say anything if u get a lemon. otherwise saitek products are good and reliable.

I agree but sli is the only hope for many of us. Not everyone can afford 1080 ti. With single 1070 in dcs 2.2, the performance is not acceptable untill graphic settings are turned down. But then whats the use of 2000+ $ machine if it cannot run at high settings. I was one of the few lucky people able to run 1070 sli in DCS which gave me good performance on high settings. lets just hope the same for 2.5. Or may be they will improve the engine to improve perfromance. I have heard the speed tree thing improves performance. lets hope for the best

Keeping in view the videos they shared I think it will require 1080ti or 1070 sli to run on high graphic settings. 1070 sli manages well in 2.2 on High settings. should be able to handle 2.5 also. I was able to make sli work in 2.2 and hopefully 2.5 should also work.

This is something I would also like to know. However, my guess is atleast 120 GB will be required if you have normandy and Nevada also. I am going to get a seperate 128 GB SSD for 2.5.

The IR missile gives no warning in RWR. Only way to know is via smoke trail or if other friendly aircrafts warns you. Pilot cant react if he does not know. Moreover, most missiles are blast fragmentation which does not immediately blow an aircraft into pieces. However, the damage caused by fragments will eventually bring it down after some time. To me this video looks real.

Engaging the afterburner must have given a better heat signature to the missile. No manoeuvre no turn only two flares. Real life is not DCS. It must be very difficult to avaid an IR missile.

Hi .. Hope everyones doing good. I have a question to ask about the spring tension and its benefits in a flight controller. I have a Saitek x52 Controller, Probably more than 10 years old. Still functions flawless. However, considering its age I want to have another one in the backup just in case the old one dies. I am looking for two options. The x52 pro has more spring tension and I dont understand what are the benefits of having more spring tension. Even in x52 I have have to apply little bit of grease at the plate beneath the spring to reduce the friction and soften it up. Any more friction or tension will cause the whole base to more out of its place. So what are the benefits of having a stiffer controller. Is it worth is ?

This is indeed a great simulator. Bugs and problems are part of the game. But the thing is they keep working and improving the simulator. I just hope SLI works in 2.5. Thats the thing we need the most.

You are not alone. 2 days before sale I bought Nevada and Normandy. I also contacted the ED TEAM but no help. I can also never forget this lolzzz.

If F15C is in TWS mode, you wont get any lock ot launch warning. U will get warning only when the 120c Radar goes active but by then it will on your head.
