Hello all! I see that now the JDAM is in for the F16 we can do a single drop against SPI. Does the F16 have the ability IRL to do a multi target drop like the F18 and AV8B can? If so is this coming to the sim?

Hello all! I'm a little confused about the operation of the CRS switch and UFC entry. Check out this video I have where I set my course line to 029 using the UFC. You can see in the video that my course line actually appears to be pointing to around 018. My EHSD is in magnetic heading mode so I would expect the CRS to be magnetic too. Is it perhaps defaulting to true? If so is this a bug or the way the real aircraft works?

A quick thought I had was that it is possible to make SRS react to the in game transmit keys and so I guess Razbam could just have the functionality react to the COM1 and COM2 transmit keys.

Hello, I fly the harrier with SRS quite a bit and I notice that as per this video that in the real aircraft a colon appears in the left part of the COM present window on the UFC while the corresponding transmit key is held. Is it possible to implement this? I don't know how much would be on the SRS side and how much on the Razbam side.

The JDAM receives the SD or system designated target point from the aircraft. This could have been designated via any of the sensors on the aircraft. TGP, DMT TV, map slew etc. It will attack whatever you give it really.

That's exactly how a real heads up display works. Symbology retains it's position and size as long as you are within the fov of the projector. It's really cool to look at in real life. EDIT Stupid me didn't read the whole post. F18 of course shouldn't work like that.

These are good for online squadrons who like to replicate real world training also.

I think it would be a great idea to have the option to select male/female for your pilots voice. It wouldn't be much extra effort to record both considering that the ATC system is already being reworked and there is already a mix of male and female voices for the controllers. Perhaps even as stated above pilots models where the face is visible could also switch between a male and female face. I don't see the need for a different body model as gender is not going to be apparent under a flight suit and associated gear. The value added with regards to inclusivity to my mind would far outweigh any development cost for such a feature. Also I think the discussion around sexual orientation and transgender identities is missing the point as neither has anything to do with representing visible gender on pilot models.

I wonder if program six is exposed to MUMI or something the ground crew has to set up for you.

Would be interesting to know if SRS is interacting with DCS in such a way that holding the SRS PTT is seen as a radio transmission by the sim. In MP at least this would make it easy to do ADF homing.

That switch is momentary in the real aircraft as I recall so perhaps they have started modelling that. Try clicking and holding or perhaps you can map it to something if that is too restrictive.

The time next to the station is not time to go but estimated time of arrival in zulu time. Switch your IFEI to Zulu time and you'll have a comparison.

The pitch ladder will centre on the flight path marker which it's self will deviate left and right to indicate slip. You can cage the flight path marker using the cage/uncage HOTAS button although make sure to uncage again during landing as otherwise you won't get indication of a crosswind or your true touch down point.

My vote would be to remove Maverick models not used IRL on the Harrier for sure. Especially given the fact that the software on the Harrier would be unable to launch them even if they were hung from a real Harrier.

Being inclusive is of benefit to everyone. We are all enriched by the presence of people of every possible grouping and just because you are a member of an "in" group today doesn't mean you always will be in every perceivable situation. This is a simulation of real life military aviation, female military pilots and ATC exist in real life, ergo they should be in the game.

What's wrong with just using a mod if you really want English labels? As there has never been an export version of the Viggen I'm perfectly happy to work with the Swedish. Till/från isn't too hard to figure out ;-)

The aircraft is not working correctly in the current stable version of the game. Surely at the least a manual hotfix could be provided? Viggen fanboys like me won't mind having to copy a file here or there ;-)

Be fun to have the RAF style ones too. Apollo, Chaos, Razor etc.
