dam nice flying there mate
-
umm havent tried my own, but this is just from missions on the main page mission tab
-
some do seem a bit off agreed, but i like having them on, one thing i ask though is, if i start a new mission they are there...cool, but if i start an old mission they are not, first i thought is because they are in a older pre 2,7 patch but surely its the same bird?

correct as is far too twitchy
thrustvector replied to thrustvector's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
lurker, for one reason i dont use a warthog stick, mine has near on the same movement as the spit stick mentioned in the vid, other reason was even after modifying it was too hard a movement, i went in the end for a CH stick, better and smoother movement esp for copters. i have re aligned my curves only for the spit, not a lot of use for curves in my opinion for other stuff, but each to his own :). it is a lot better and may well have been the cause, so thanks for the reminder, also thanks guys for the vid, -

yes i agree that modern gear can be a bit of the reason, and yes i could maybe add curves to smooth it out, and yes all other planes are fine but each is different, also realise about the real plane...as i said, but this just seems overly twitchy and too fast to react in normal circumstances, maybe i need to fly her more again, but initial opinion is that its too on edge. ha, thanks max, was a blast -
just flew again recently after the big update, which i must say is ab brill for the sounds, especially the Mustang, but i digress, the spit is just too nose twitchy, every little movement is overdone, including the loss in speed/increase from level flight throttle changes, now before someone says oh thats what its like, i have flown a spit, and its not THAT twitchy
-
Aha thanks mate
-
yep as said, updated the script after every update, everything sends and receives but not the map on any device i have loaded?
-
hey pet33r, thanks as usual for your updates all works on mine np but the map is just that ATM, i.e no plane or position, lua updated np and every page works as should, do i need to do something else?
-
i never have a prob with it, but you do need to be slower/more precice with your movements, if setting up for an attack for example then coming towards your "spot as you would to land, just at the point of landing or whatever height behind a tree, just tilt forward slightly, as you would have been tail back and it will settle then hit the button and voila, did take me a time to get this just right
-
good news man, thank you for the updates to this great little bird
-
dam, i only came here as i thought someone like me has to play with there cat sitting on their lap too

Water is too dark and horrible
thrustvector replied to Fabiano-VIKING's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
yep as in other posts, really dark water and too bright reflections, but at a certain level it looks well ok..ish -
on Persian gulf t night, didn't realise till i flew low but all the cars a luminous yellow light, similar to street lamps, when you get real close the fade into a car ill grab a pic if needed
-
yep allready posted on this on the clouds section, i put it down to reflection
-
yea i get that and know first hand, but its not as bright as its here and also the clouds reflection is just to much
-
first off a big thank you for the update, i think 90% of it is brilliant, the sounds are just great ! but over the sea the glare and reflections are just too much, its near white out sometimes, i havent changed any of my settings, my brightness has always been 1.8, unless i need to change more with the update?

thrustvector replied to Mizrach's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
oh i know the zoom is wrong, but what i meant is i just like how the atflir works, may not be better atm but i do like it, and the best pod is the one you get on with best -

Yes zoom not as good, but I prefer it too, just seems so much more fluid in use
