tis just a scratch, surprising how much dmg it can take
-
sorry yes that's yaw, didn't read your question properly, i dont usually have a prob with it. but you do need to do it on the fly, as bomb weights and diff loadouts make a big diff to the plane. what stick have you got? as some with small axis controls will/can be use easier for trimming all round
-
its easier to use the trim control to the left of the throttle, for instance you are overloaded on one side just a click or two will level you out, use the hat for something else, TMS?

Non-functional throttle axis in Hot Start at Runway.
thrustvector replied to Fri13's topic in AV-8B N/A
which is sometimes hard to find, by the left of the throttle behind it -
i have made a post about this a few down, it seems as apparently it is how it is, the A10 pilot i spoke to said it wasnt but i dunno then. it seems if you lower your seat to get rid of the dead area below its ok
-
i would be interested in the pedals alone, but i sure pnp to uk will be far too much

+1 there mate, hopefully we will see more coming over from the 10c

Thank you for your input guys, its not just me, I play 2d/ track ir too, and as you say Hive it does seem worse since last update. You really have to nail the correct AoA for bombing etc, its not impossible just seems a lot harder than maybe it should be? -

these pics give you an idea, bottom pic in level flight, as you can see, you cannot see anything above in level flight, yes u see the gun pipper, but in A/A mode above thats how high you have to targer, so i need to keep moving seat up n down to get better views, its really like scrolling down a menu, i know a lot has changed from when i wasnt able to play, but before on the old 10c, all was visible at one go in the hud -
ok, never had an issue on the 10c, tried diff resolutions as well, so just gonna ask now, when i look at the hud, i dont see pippers, or for example the bomb site till i get Pull up/pull up!! so i drop my seat/and or view point, np then, i see them just fine, but then of course i dont see the bottom of the hud? its like for me its got stretched to long, i have been adding a few extra things recently on the hardware side and wondering if something like that may be the prob, but i doubt it, its really like i need to shrink the image to fit......hope you get my meaning here

i guess your just asking what trim to nose is?. basically does what it says

ok, found the source in case any one needs, in win 10 just calibrate from there no ch software and jitters as if by magic disappear tell you something though, i much prefer the combat stick to the warthog!!
-
lol, gotta be something wrong on there site, uk, says they are 3mill each
-
have a new combat stick, usb, works all well etc, exept that it has a tiny judder when centred if you look down at your in game stick its shaking, not sure but may be the wheels on the base? any ideas?
-
thank you, yep they are skimping on there job

not sure of exact names and not a bug but, when you unfold your wings on FA-18, the crew that watch to check them, go before your wings are completely down, just be nice the few extra seconds for them to stay for immersion
-
forgot too say this is on the supercarrier, but i think the prob is that both radios are identical aren't they? so which ever one i added the frequency too should have worked? dunno for sure as just learning this bird thanks for input mate
-
yes the nozzle position lever next to the throttle, be great to save constantly looking down at it, while VTOL, thank you pet333r

i have them ll and love the gazelle, its so different to fly than all the others, shark is easiest as you dont even need a rudder, huey is the easiest "normal copter to fly. the old gazelle is just fun n fast, i think its worth it full price let alone in the sale its a steal
-
i just found out too what was wrong, it says comm 1 in the briefing and as i assumed that comm 1 and 2 work the same i set comm 1 to 127.500. no reply but if i set comm 2 to the freq it works, so small bug there in the briefing window or comms not working as should?

thrustvector replied to thrustvector's topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
