To all, Thanks to Discwalker I think the problem is solved. RIGHT ALT J changes you into AI and back. My pickle button is set to RIGHT ALT SPACE but my PTT button for TeamSpeak is J. SO if I pickle and call Magnum fast enough, I interrupt my pickle command with PTT causing it to emulate the keystroke RIGHT ALT J--and I get kicked out. I tested it a few times and verified this, so I think the problem is solved. Thanks! v6, boNes

When you are in TWS mode, in the MFD in the upper right corner where the range used to be, there are some numbers, usually two digit. What does that represent? Also, if you wanted to drop all the L&S and DT2 targets (for instance, because a friendly was accidentally designated), what is the best way to do that? I hit undesignate but of course it cycles the contacts then. Finally, if you have your JHMCS on and want to go back to RWS, what's the quickest way to do it? So far it seems just hitting the mode button for RWS is the only way... Thanks. v6, boNes

This happened to me again in MP but this time I fired a Sidewinder and after a few seconds of watching it, I got transformed to an AI in external view again. I have a trackfile, how do I get it to you? Thanks! v6, boNes

I did a file integrity check (Steam) and a reboot and still no MP, problem presents itself the same way I first described. I also noticed that my keybinds for joystick buttons were gone. Keyboard emulated ones were fine though. v6, boNes

I was able to go online and fly MP at 0400 CDT and it was fine. BUt at 1200 CDT it was no go all of a sudden. when i start DCS (Steam version) and get prompted for my login and password on the main menu and click the login button, nothing happens. The login and password prompts stay up. I have to click the X to close it to do anything. Click on mulitplayer after that and the list of servers is empty. No error messages. I also ask because my buddy was able to login and see the servers. I'm in the US and he's in Canada though, don't know if that makes a difference. v6, boNes

Also don't be too embarrassed by the MiG-21. Its flight model is greatly exaggerated in its own favor. But first and foremost in any case, having and maintaining a tally is crucial. v6, boNes

Lately I've noticed that if I set a TACAN the range to it is frozen and sometimes incorrect. One time I was 70 miles from a TACAN and in the HUD it said 4053 miles! Other times it is correct but does not decrease as I fly toward the TACAN. But if I turn it off, then turn it back on, it works fine. Anyone else have this happen? v6, boNes

What is the correct way to use this? As I recall back in the JF-18 days if you have SP PB on, whatever you are doing if you get locked up by a SAM or AAA you can fire the HARM at it without having to select it. In DCS, is this the case? I see that HARM OVERRIDE is highlighted but it doesn't seem o do anything unless I select a HARM and then fire. Same seems to be happen if I press the MFD to turnoff the highlight. What's the right way? Couldn't see anything in the manual (since it is pre release I think) nor Chuck's guide or any searches. v6, boNes

Also, is there a keystroke/binding that causes a player's aircraft to turn into an AI controlled aircraft? I ask in case I am unknowingly hitting a keystroke that would command that. My pickle button is set to [right alt][space] Would that command the transformation? ALthough I have been using this keystroke for years and it only started happening a week or two ago. I tried to get a trackfile but no go. Can you advise where to look to make sure I am looking in the right place? This only happens in a MP mission--is it possible to get a trackfile from a MP mission? If not I can show you video or send you the mission itself. v6, boNes

WHere do I submit it? Just attach it here? ALso I took the file labeled last track in the file name but am not entirely sure that is it. Better than nothing I guess. IT was in the c:\users\username\appdata\local\temp\dcs folder\lastmissiontrack.trk. I am running Steam version. Is that the right file? v6, boNes

OK, it happened again this time when I dropped CBU-99. Apparently at random when I drop, my aircraft gets transformed into an AI aircraft. I have no control and someone or something flies me instead. I am in Operation Clearfield right now and watching my now AI plane being flown back to the carrier on its own after dropping the CBU. So, no one has any ideas what's going on? OK, I have now found that this happens at random not just with JSOW but also with HARM and GBU. In the latest case when I dropped GBU, it kicked me out into external view and I couldn't get back in as before. I had no control of my aircraft--instead it seemed as if someone had remote control of it. It was maneuvering, opening the airbrake, even popped flares and chaff and climbed. It was as if my aircraft suddenly became AI controlled. On the F10 map I was not even shown. Does anyone know what is going on? Is ti something written into the mission? It was Operation Clearfield on an MP server. v6, boNes

I have it keybound to my HOTAS. It has always worked before. in fact it worked just a few hours before it stopped working, and it worked afterwards when I set a fake target only 10 miles away and fired on it. v6, boNes

Weapon release is st to right shift space. It has been set this way for years and not changed and always worked until now. v6, boNes

Ok tried this but saw that nothing was keybound to any of those combos and doing it in game did not reproduce the results either. Could it just be a multiplayer thing? when i did MP with it earlier that day with no problems, there was only one other guy on the server. But later that night on the mission there were 4 or more people on. Could have confused DCS or something? v6, boNes

Karon, I looked at your website and it picked my fancy. I think i'll have a harder look at it when I get more time. as for hitting reset for the knobs, when you do that, do the knobs snap back to the zero position? Like some kind of solenoid kicks in? v6, boNes
