Strange, it works for me. Does "MAG" switch do "MAV" in the PCA?

You can find the latest manual in the DCS World\Mods\aircarft\M-2000C\Doc directory
-
Honestly, with RAZBAM already actively working on three new modules (MiG-23, F-15E, EE Lightning), with probably more I don't recall right now... I wouldn't hold my breath. Unless AdA gently pushes for them...

Yes, it is. It's the QRA switch; if on, only systems that needs power for the plane to be ready for scramble are powered.

Are you expecting something different?

Any mod installed? DCS Version?

Yeah, you're right. Calling it HSI it's probably an oversimplification. Thanks for pointing that out.

Sorry, I forgot to check for replies in this thread. To answer your question: no, there's no "Course" selection in the Mirage HSI. You only have an arrow pointing to your destination (it may be a waypoint, an offset from the waypoint, a TACAN or an offset to the TACAN according to your HSI and INS settings). What I suggested is the method I use to intercept a course in the Mirage. Let's say I am 10nm west of my waypoint: my HSI will show an arrow pointing east, so towards 090; the back of the arrow will of course point the opposite, 270. In other word, I am on radial 270 of the waypoint. Now, I want to reach the waypoint from the radial of, let's say, 300. Of course I have to point north to intercept radial 300. How do I know I am on the correct radial? I will be when the back of the arrow will be at 300. As soon as it will be, I will turn to heading 120 (opposite of 300) and I'll reach the waypoint on the desired course. After all, if you look at it, despite being "fat", the HSI arrow has a thin line at the end, that serves exactly this purpose: know exactly on which radial you are related to your current destination.

Sorry for necroposting, but I would add another workaround that still involves disabling Windows Store but perhaps in an easier way. Just go to Settings->Privacy->Background Apps, disable the Windows Store app and reboot the PC. Now Windows Store won't start at boot anymore, and TARGET will be free to hide the peripherals. Other Windows Store capabilities should still be available, but I didn't test them thoroughly as I don't use it. All I know is that TARGET is loading the script fast now, and the hardware peripherals are correctly hidden.

DCS World TARGET profile for TM Cougar and Warthog + MFDs
=36=Witcher replied to Home Fries's topic in Thrustmaster
This is a known TARGET bug in Windows 10: basically, Windows Store application prevents TARGET to hide the single DX peripherals, so you end up with both those and the Thrustmaster Virtual Controller Root device; you can check you have all those peripherals in both TARGET Device Analyzer, DCS, Windows Joystick Control Panel, anywhere. Another symptom of this happening is, also, a very long loading time for the TARGET script (because TARGET tries for 5 seconds to hide the controller, then it gives up and goes back to the next, etc). In my case, with Warthog Stick, Warthog Throttle, TRFP and 2x MFDs the script tries for 25 seconds to hide the peripherals before it actually starts. If you just want to make it work, after you fire up the CTS script, make sure it is properly loaded, then in DCS clear every device, then only map Keyboard and Thrustmaster Virtual Controller Root (and any rudder peripheral you have, since it's not included in the script anyway). Otherwise, a simple solution is to prevent Windows Store to start automatically when you boot your PC. Just go to Settings->Privacy->Background Apps and disable Windows Store. Reboot, and start the CTS script again. It should load in a few seconds, and you shouldn't have any single peripheral anymore, only the Thrustmaster Virtual Controller Root.- 2261 replies

Not with dedicated instrument. But you just need to manouver to have the arrow pointing the opposite of the desired course, and steer towards the waypoint.

Can't remove wheel chocks, ground crew doesn't report
=36=Witcher replied to rale26's topic in M-2000
Now that I think of it, I remember I can consistently reproduce this bug, or at least I could a few weeks ago: if you ask ground crew to remove wheel chocks while engine is not idle, they will reply unable; asking again when idle they will reply "removed" but they're actually not. So I have to ask them to put them again and then remove again in order to have them actually remove the chocks. -
It's because the autopilot trims the surfaces, and the warning is there to remind you to reset the FBW before taking off again.

Warning lights stays on after toggling FBW Gain

Hey, nice to see you here as well :) as I said on Facebook I think it's by design, but I can't find any source. Let's wait for other comments. -
You actually only need to bind Select Radio 1 and Select Radio 2 in SRS, and optionally PTT if you want it as a separate key. The frequency selection can be done in cockpit.
-
Restart DCS. Happens from time to time.

I think he's wondering why he doesn't see the coordinates running while on a PREP different than 00. Probably didn't even realize that PREP 00 existed.
-
1. PREP 00 2. Landing airfield must be set via mission editor for synthetic runway to show up. You cannot change it in cockpit.

You didn't press CMS Magic. Stop blaming RAZBAM if you don't read release notes.

Warthog "sticky"/"stuck" CMS switch fix
=36=Witcher replied to Insonia's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi. One of the switches in my CMS is starting to give intermittent feedback and I'm trying to replace it. Do you happen to know the exact size of them? -
CNM Neutral, CAS on PCA (LCtrl+0 as you said) and Special Modes FWD
-
Are you sure your inputs are bound correctly after the new TDC Depress implementation?
-
Yes, I know that PCA doesn't select Magics, thank you. I mean that I can still fire Magics with CNM Neutral, and in MAV Test 3 track you can also see the MAG PCA button with the S light on. If you say that CNM Neutral is bugged, that's ok, that's what I'm reporting as well. Sorry I didn't catch the other post earlier.
