  1. The Gladiator seems to be a great joy but it comes with no throttle right?
  2. masterpiece
  3. The throttle works great for modern jets. The stick is average but if it fits your budget, go ahead. I understand it has Hall sensors for both stick and throttle, better than pots. Regarding the pricetag, no idea sir.
  4. So being working previously is now even more of a mistery! enjoy!!
  5. 5600 is the way to go, that´s why they vanished from shelves.
  6. After reading last night struggles of a squadronmate setting up his G2 for first time, I won´t ever again badmouth Oculus software. Also, I start Oculus Home. Then Steam, click on DCS, and choosing Oculus VR mode. Done. Yeah definitely ED standalone could improve
  7. Maybe a second hand GTX 1080 could help you. No idea about your current CPU horsepower. Also check second hand for Rift S, Odyssey +... I wouldn´t go lower than that. Trust me, a couple of years ago I was flying Rift CV1 with a GTX 1060 3Gb, and felt stunning despite everything else!
  8. Yeah leaning and dropping your shoulder is a neat trick!
  9. Most likely because the waiting list is long and the stock of v1 is getting shorter by the day.
  10. Same than motion sickness, people react differently to VR fps numbers.
  11. There is no way looking at a Youtube video could provide the effect than when donning a VR headset.
  12. No speakers but yes you plug your headset to the front connectors. Notice into your screenshot how the rear outputs are greyed out. unlike front ones. If you are using SSA software, you are into USB telemetry mode, so your BK vibrates depending on the readout of the sim, no sounds. Open your Realtek software to check what output is selected, maybe default is stereo. So I would play safe and go with green.
  13. You need that combo + RShift, which is missing in that first message.
  14. Maybe when using the front panel connections, back panel are inhibited ¿?
  15. buff I need to win the lottery
  16. You would need a second sound card, a cheap $6 usb would be enough.
  17. Lots of CAD drawings and dimensions from Virpil products over here: http://www.havoc-company.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1386
  18. It´s the same because the memory which stores than info is within the base, not the joy. If you are swapping joys, with the same TM base, just save a DCS controller profile with the first installed joy, unplugg the usb, remove, install the other, plug usb again. Bind your things on DCS, and save a new profile. I have to, something like "Tundra_Warthog_v1", and "Tundra_Hornet_v1". No need to reassign after every swapping.
  19. If you set DCS MSAA to 2x, and then Nvidia Control Panel to 2x, it´s that redundant or both add up to 4x?
  20. But 2 Gs are 2Gs for all airframes right? Maybe you mean how the software "scales" the effect? meaning you can´t reach 9Gs in the Huey so 2Gs should rumble more?
  21. I think the offset applies to the stick only, not the whole base.
  22. the sensor control switch from my stick didn´t register a pulsation, so I sent it back with warranty. To France TM service I think (I live in Spain). They solved the issue and the joy came back after 10-15 days. No money involved.
  23. ey Miles, it could be a nice idea showing how the V2 units fit some HOTAS you had around.
  24. For modern jets and /or helis, VKB are a great value for money (220e). Tpr are overpriced. Quite.
  25. That looks very very good sir!
