TM Cougar & CH magnetoresistive/ hall sensor kits
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to rel4y's topic in Thrustmaster
When using my stick in a Virpil desk mount by the side, I find very awkward pulling Gs and feel some wrist strain. On a different matter, could anyone who installed the hall sensor for cougar throttle, share the user curve values to match de physical afterburner detent? -
Throttle HOTAS Warthog mapping when using the afterburner detent
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to paulw10's topic in Thrustmaster
There is another thread on the forum about user curves for several airframes, appreciated your effort though, it doesn´t cost anything trying new settings. -
Those boards for pushbuttons are amazing, cheap and truly plug and play. I think they also work with 2 way switches, and maybe a 4-axis joystick/hat. Anything beyond these options, Arduino should be the way, but like you mention, you need soldering and programming skills.

Would a 15 degrees forward "neck" be mandatory for the force sensor base? -

I think with Helios you could add windows displays to the remaining monitor space to show for instance RWR or DED. Or analog anemometer and altimeter. But like you mentioned, for MFDs only you are golden witinh DCS own options. Enjoy! -

I got two bass shakers and tend to using them for certain "thump" sounds, such as touchdown, afterburners, gun, weapons... For Geffect and stall I prefer the seat pad, even engine. Gear, speedbreak, wake turbelence... I still prefer the seat pad. Both systems complement each other quite well.

2 years ago I bought my Virpil base and desk mount for stick and love it. I even added some brackets por mfds cougar and a10 ufc. For throttle I have built 2 diy mounts. I might be wrong but I think chair mounts and swivel chair like mine could lead to unwanted motion -

It comes with RGB illumination providing additional fps and performance Never overclocked, I´m too old for that.
