Is ii a know issue that you can see JTAC lasers in the day time, I can see a think black lack line extending from them to the smoke marker in the Sinai TTi we have on our servers, I tried to take a screen shot but the line didn't show up in an pics I take, I thought it may have been due to SSS as I had just enabled that but I turned it off and it was still showing.

Just got 2.9 installed, what has everyone settled on with the new settings in 2.9 for the Pimax Crystal. Cheers

Does anyone know if the proposed 19/20th Patch will be the 2.9 patch or another 2.8 interim update ??.

Id agree with you on those points for the 2.9 release we have maybe 2 major updates to go in November and December with id say a couple of minor patches to fix things that this October patch when it breaks some important stuff. We have had 1 major plane release this year the F15SE and what 2 terrains Normandy 2 and Sinai If we look at your F4 percentage, id also suggest for the rest of 2023 based on what was seen in the 2023 beyond video (I know it says beyond) Chinook 0% C130 0% Corsair 0% LA5 50% OH58D Kiowa 25% (im being generous here) Ground AI updates 0% Weather updates 0% New Radio 90% Lets hope its a nice stable beta release and adds so performance to those who can use DLSS.

I'm really really hoping we get some ground forces AI updates sooner rather than later, using any attack helicopters in DCS in any mission is getting pretty boring against the really bad ground AI, even the awesome Apache its become way to easy to kill them even with clever scripting, except for the sniper AK47 guy, he is a one man Rambo show

No issues with mine been using it since the first week of release even before DFR, its got the best clarity in DCS of all my VR headsets and the only one I use now, but im on a 4090 with a well oiled PC purley set up as a games machine.

An interesting update this morning DLSS will be nice,it will be nice to see the new 3d models finally in the game we have been shown for the last 1.5 years My question would be what are the ground troops going to do when we drop them off as in all the mission stuff is scripted. And with the state of CA in VR it's use will be limited for a lot. Will anybody bother driving a truck around the maps to do this with the ground AI in its current form, I'm curious to know what ED have planned for this feature. Sent from my TB350FU using Tapatalk

It would be nice for 2.9 to close out some of the longstanding AI model developments, SC updates which have been in the works as well for many years, some improvement to the ground war AI and animations wouldn't go a miss either now we have good attack helicopters in the game, also some core updates to gameplay would be most welcome.

About to ask the same, why would you be wanting to see your desktop.

George is about as dumb as the ground AI he is firing at, its pretty common in DCS AI units

I'm confused with this 15th year promo, when did it start as we are 9 months into 2023, and the video promised so much in DCS's 15th year.

With the useless ED SAMS units and AI for blue side like the NASAM and Patriot not being very effective against Redfor, yet Redfor SAMs are amazing, is there any descent mods that will make protecting our airbases in missions much more effective agaisnt the RED Ai we have in the air. Cheers

DCS goes straight to VR its not as modern as MSFS and being able to switch in and out with a button press. At a mni you need the Crystal software and PimaxXR Control Panel https://github.com/mbucchia/Pimax-OpenXR/releases

This is the reason why we use a splash damage mod on our server missions, helps a lot with rocket attacker and helps against the abysmal ED ground AI which has been this way a long time.

I did another clean and repair which has fixed it.

On the latest beta version, I don-t have this option TADS Store Target, done a clean and repair also, id take a screen shot but its not working
