Hey Guys, As the title says I was wondering if anybody plans on releasing a replacement for WMR? I mean to just do away with it is just a shame these headsets are still good.. and I dont have a 900usd to throw at a new headset Meta is not even an option..

Well if the patch messed it up how come not everybody is affected,. I for one am not having any stutters after installing the latest?? there is a common theme here and some get issueswhile others don't.. If it was something in the patch everybody who upgraded would be affected.. but who knows..

well biggest question for when getting a new pc and such is Budget. what is your budget for this project?

what is your GPU Frametimes in game while flying or your FPS and Also what Hz rate do you run in the VR Headset?

Well the new Intels will be out on Oct. 24th, maybe wait until then I would avoid the 13 & 14th series Intel. I guess you have not heard about the issues they been having..

well then maybe you can tell me what is wrong I am only trying to help you resolve your issue. if you dont think it is that well you would be told to do it even if you sent a ticket.. but just ti kill the curiosity, during the update you could have got corrupted file and cause an issue like this. either clean and repair or do a totasl reinstall. either way it will eliminat that as being the issue. But maybe a log file could explain it too or even a trk file would be good.. IDK!! Oh and as to your OP Question I do not experience any of your issues with the new update past present or probally future..

+1 and maybe post which monitor you use 4K, 1080P, or VR?

your resolution on the one is not times by 3. so it is just 2160.. I know you said it was ok but now it is real bad but running it in 3Viewports is inefficient.. it is best to run in nvidia surround and set the display as 1 display vs 3.. Did you run a clean and slow repair after the update??

if you are using Open XR this is normal. better then before where the load screen would flash like a strobe light..

ya, Glad you got it resolved those network issues can drive you nuts sometimes..

check the ip in the router and make sure it is the correct IP of the PC you host on.. check with ipconfig and cmd prompt..

Hey guys, I just ran the DCS Log Analyzer and it stated this: Errors Process Lasso detected Process Lasso can cause issues with DCS MT. Consider disabling it. What kind of issues can PL cause here?? I am not seeming to have any issues and it seems DCS runs better with it enabled? I am just curious as too why the log checker says this about Process Lasso?

well I am able to run "Textures" at Medium and "Terrain Textures" at High and no issues. if I put "Textures" on High I get over vRam usage after a while in the game. So maybe a memory leak or simialr still going on in the Apache?

Well over at the DCS Discord channel they have a log analyzer. I ran it and it noted this: Errors Your DCS has crashed The crash occurred inside ntdll.dll. Try a !repair of DCS Remove your custom mods. Delete Saved Games\DCS\fxo and metashaders2 and try again. Next, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\TEMP\DCS and try again. Next, try renaming Saved Games\DCS to DCS.old and try again. Also are you familiar with DISM repairs for windows?? If not try this to maybe repair a broken windows: in command prompt run as admin then Type the following command, and then press Enter. It may take several minutes for the command operation to be completed. 1. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth then run this 2. dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup then run this: 3. sfc /scannow if it said it found errors and fixed them reboot and rerun the same scans in command prompt as admin.. do this until it says it found no integrity viloations.. You also use mods so it is probally those.. but the log analyzer said you crashed because that dll file so maybe try all of it above..

and works with Win 11 you just need to disable Core Isolation.

well I have win 11 Pro so I can shut off the feature updates. so I should be good for a while but I am guessing I need to start collecting funds for a crystal light..

Hey Lord Vader, I was tolde the scoring system and was told it is the foothold scripts and not DCS that is keeping the score here.. I have 2 trk files. since I found out the scoring was done by scripts in foothold ED will not be able to do anything to fix this issue? 1 try file is 85mb and the other is 10mb I am going to check them out and see which one showed the scores I got..

I will try and get a trk file from tonight online play..

Hey Rotor heads, I was flying the Apache tonight and noticed I only had 2 out of 10 kills that I scored. they were not shared kills as I was at the target area alone. and when I landed it said I only killed 2 vehicles I know I got at least 10, I had 16 missiles and 2 missiles missed and 2 were still on the rails.. No big deal but the Foothold missions we fly are based on points.. here is my DCS.Log file ignore the CTD I got. problem solved on that one. dcs.log

yes I realize it will be dropped my question is can we DL windows mixed reality from the store afterupdating to 24h2 win 11??

Well do we know for sure now if the WMR has been dropped from Win 11 and is not able to DL from the store?? I was going to get win 11 but I have a G2 headset and no money to replace it ..

well it is in MB's. but it is probally your ISP throttling the torrent.. some ISP's do that.. I get real fast DL speeds all the time.

try disabling hot plug in control options
