@Andre Hey In the Simshaker program we noticed that Ground Roll is currently broke. it shows in the test screen something is playing but no kicker is engaged. and yes all the other sounds I tested seem to work fine so it is not my buttkicker.. A user noticed there is no effect on takeoff on a carrier so maybe the ground roll was when used to be felt?? Thnx Nephilim

well like I said I did not even see it listed in the simshaker, unles Ground roll is what you heard as I just checked and Ground roll is not creating an effect. it show something is playing but no buttkicker effect?? maybe we should report this to Andre.

Have you checked your RAM during DCS Gameplay to see how much is being used.

Did it work before you started having issues?? I am going to go and test a f14 takeoff and see what mine does with simshaker.. EDIT: I did not see or feel anything for the catapult takeoff in an F14 and simshaker.

ok but I still have no issues 1st load into the game??

hmmm this is wierd I have no such issue even in MP. take under a min. in MP and real quick in SP.. I just tried the F14 freeflight in Cauc. and it took about 15 seconds to loud in.. I have no exclusions in Defender either for anything..

yes that is the best thing to try and balance out what you hear, everybody percieves sound differently DB wise and all.. Your welcome hope it works out for you..

looks like it is the Balaclava.. you can turn it off in the special settings under Apache64..

not sure what is going to work you are going to have to be the judge for that..

well how low are the voices? I guess you could try turning down the other bars to balance it out..

are you using the correct audio device in windows sound properties?

You have to turn up the "Helmet" volume bar that should make the voices louder..

Well you coulkd be a little more specific and helpfull, is this a canned mission or a mission from a user or similar. how about posting your DCS.Log file.. I mean I figure from just looking at the video your are hearing firing of weapons but see no tracers and such??

yes use Display Driver uninstaller DDU for short.. make sure you go into safe mode. yes set your Pagefile and then try the Multithread .exe located in the Bin-MT folder.. DCS.exe there are 2 bin folders the regualr bin has the single core exe and the mt has the multi threaded one.. Hope this works for you..

Hey that is the one, and don't worry alot of users get this wrong.. there were a few things I seen but the 1st is any reason you are not using the MT exe?? and your pagefile is at ZERO, I would if you have the space on your drive. Also you seem to have a good enough PC, when you installed your GPU did you DDU the old Drivers that is if you just installed that GPU over an older one or is this a new PC all together??

C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dcs.log no those are crash and dump files the log is just that see above, it is a text document. I would see if you can either update the Pimax program or revert back to an older one if you recently updated it or verify the files or reinstall it maybe as a last resort..

Hey Sorry to say they are not the Logs.. it is just called "DCS.log" located in the savedgames folder: C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs the type is a text document not a zipped folder they are dump files..

can you post your DCS.Log file please? also what is your power supply for the PC make and wattage? what did you stress test the pc with?

Well it also could be anything between the antifreeze or a million other things.. you say it is rezising does it do it on the monitor as well or just in the log file? are you running any mods or tacview?

hey I rechecked your DCS.log and noticed this line: ['maxFPS'] = 50; maybe try and max out your FPS as it said your screens refresh rate was 90hz.. also check and make sure you dont have vsync on or similar, I checked the dxdiag and it stated all that was off just be sure it is..

well I see it is a 13500CPU that should be good but I was wondering it appears you also have a built in GPU the intel one are you sure your using the discreet GPU the 3050RTX?? the pagefile might help but as long as you hae the drive space for it.. I would check to see if you are using the 3050 and not the built in one.. and another thing you are using the single thread exe try using the multicore DCS.exe in the Bin/MT folder..

Well thank you for the log, but what are your Laptop specs besides the 3050 GPU and 16GB Ram plus a 3000mb pagefile is a little to be desired.?? is this even a 64bit Laptop? dxdiag would be helpful but I can bet your Laptop is not upto the task.. Also are you playing online or is this a mission trk file would be good as well..

well having tweaked a bit I was able to get 80% Resolution in OpenXR and it looks real good. Plus I still have med/high settings and still get way under 16.6ms Frametime.. I could proablly run 100% but it gets too near the 16.6ms FT, and I like a little headroom in MP.. EDIT: IT appears the Frametimes are worse in the Kola map currently. I could set it too 100% rez and probally be fine. just when I switch back to Kola to turn down the rez..

Well which CPU do you have? I just purchased a 4070ti and was able to get about 60+ FPS @ 65% Rez in DCS, so I would say you should fair a bit better with the 4080Super.. but what I know now I would have gotten a 4080super.. Even better yet if you can swing a 4090, that should be really nice for VR.. I am going to wait until the 5xxx series gets here and make a decision I am still thinking I should send the 4070ti back..
