  1. Might be your rudders. try to put a deadzone on your rudders to see if that helps. But it probably input from a controller that prevents it from engaging.
  2. You were probably in one of the dogfight modes.
  3. Linear is only realistic if you have a FFB stick, if that's not the case then neither are very realistic, but nonlinear will give you better control.
  4. As a sidenote, You should always fire a missile, regardles. If the bandit has nothing his way, he can just continue pressing on you.
  5. Nonlinear will always give you full axis movement, no matter how the trim is. Play around with it and you will see the difference. I like nonlinear.
  6. He answered this very thread on page 1.
  7. Correct! AFAIK it was reported long time ago, but nothing came out of it. There should be an old thread in this section somewhere. BTW. F-15 was a Belsimtek project, and I wouldn't expect anything changed or fixed until MAC is out.
  8. There are a few F-18 pilots IRL on these forums, they could easily answer this, but maybe they are not allowed.
  9. Indicated is the speed you would relate to when maneuvering. Up high you need to be going a lot faster to have the same G's available to you as when you are low. The U2 for instance had like a 10 Knots window in which it would either stall because of low IAS or overspeed due to high Mach, when cruising at max altitude.
  10. Yea. not really useable.
  11. I think people (myself included) just find it odd that you have to spend precious time centering the radar with a relative axis system when there could just be a button that would do the same. If I was an engineer i would build a button into the elevation control itself that would do that.
  12. Only A-A stuff is fired by the trigger. Everything else is 'pickle'.
  13. Just leave a folder view or something irrelevant, before you launch DCS. ALT+TAB a few times between DCS and the other window should give you the windows menubar at some point. Doesn't matter if you have fullscreen checked or not, first ALT+TAB will exit fullscreen and you have to ALT+enter if you want to return to fullscreen. That is how it works on my end.
  14. Do you have 'sync to HOTAS', or what's it called, enabled in options? If so, disable and you can probably bind the key again without problems.
  15. SP or MP? I've been having issues in MP.
  16. There are already numerous threads about elevation issues in this very section. If none of the descriptions fit your experience, you should make a proper bug report. cheers
  17. With the warthog you need to move all axis ASAP after start with sync on. I recommend to turn it off.
  18. Flown under very low bridge and cut my vertical stabs in half and survived.
  19. Yes it has, but that's a long time ago.
  20. I had this issue a few times in the past. Along with script taking ages to run. I recently bought a USB hub and connected all my ™ stuff to that, and since then there has been no issues. The joy's seem to not boot right when you enter windows. Now I boot windows, and then turn on the hub when in Win 10. (the hub has an on/off switch). All good now.
  21. No probs here. Be sure that tmfastservice is running. If not, start it. Target wont run without it.
  22. Wow! That guy can surely act! :shocking:
