EPIC However I hope Currenthill you are going to make that different kind "pancake" sensor-drum/cylinder under the nose of the 52K, animate windshield-wipers and add bones into those rotorblades. What is immersive/reality killer to me (about choppers) usually: the absence of bend/flex of rotorblades - when those stopped/relaxed - and the absence of elevated blades(tips) during load/stress. (blade flapping animation)
  3. As I see 2.8.8.43300+ is around the corner (maybe today?), so Id like to know the ETA for the new 3D models: B-1B, B-52H, S-3B/R aircrafts, Ural trucks ? Zil-131 with SA-2/S-75 trailers/reloaders ? TZ-22, ATZ-60 fuel-tank-trailers ? (behind the firefighter-truck on the image) TY
  4. Also there are no 3D spot and omnilights on Oil and Gas platforms. Only texture lights (bano material I guess) are visible. You can check in the ModelViewer (OK) how different should look like. Ingame both structures are dark, (except texture-light-balls)

  8. Unfortunately AI is not smart enough to discover and use later-added bridges. Needs predefined RoadNetwork/Routes (files)
  9. ( AI or human ? ) IMHO, just made/add a simple double-sided collision model as a roadway of the bridge (from the original 3D model)

  16. Nice Job ! However the range ( - I know: sources on the internet - ) of the Shahed 136 is highly overestimated IMHO. It is slow, got large wings: big lift but big drag also. A fifth of its range what you set is believable: about 200NM/360 Km.
  17. Nice ! BTW: do you see the BC7 dds files in your windows as Thumbnails ? I see only Icons - "normal" dds is visible as thumbnail but not the compressed: no preview Would you mind recommending a program to quick-see "funky/turbid" BC7 files without opening in Photoshop ? ...a BC7-DDS plugin for XnView would be the best ps. Latest 2.51.2 XnView able to show BC7-DDS thumbnails but only as the noisy/funky/turbid format TY
  18. Did some tests and checked few older DCS.log(s). (Main DCS and SavedGames folders on 1TB Samsung SSD) Earlier "▲ first start of the day" loading times (with lots of Mods/Addons in the SavedGames folder) were about 1:20 , without any mods (only Su-25T and TF-51D in the "GameFolder"/Mods) was about 1:10 - (to get into the Caucasus-MissionEditor + 20 seconds). So Summ/Total were 1:40 - 1:30 into ME. ... not "▲ first start of the day" loading times were shorter, approx. 10 seconds quicker. Now (DCS 2.8.6.41363 Open Beta) "▲ first start of the day" loading time (and other, right after 2nd-3rd starts also) are about 3:20 but to get into Caucasus-MissionEditor slightly quicker: + 10 second. So the loading time now approx 2.5 times slower with the latest patch, here. - (but on the other hand get into ME, mission loading times, swaptimes between maps are faster) BTW: there is a problem @ the beginning of loading (maybe with weapons ???) - No Mods (running ST) ▼ (from latest DCS.log(s) === Log opened UTC 2023-06-23 20:09:28 2023-06-23 20:09:27.912 INFO EDCORE (Main): Create boot pool. . ............   19. Unfortunately I am experiencing the same thing. Loading time increased to double/triple or more. (not the shaders-making-time) It takes a lot of time until the logo with the version number appears. I think I go back to the previous beta.
  20. Probably they did not put that boat into the game yet (officially) coz DCS can handle 4 arresting wires maximum, currently. I guess RB an HB (Forrestal) wainting for implemantition of increased numbers of arresting wires by ED. AFAIK Marianas-Guam-Andersen_AFB runways (both) got only/no more than 4 invisible (but working) arresting-wires as well. (works/can be catch by FC3 ACs: F-15C/Su-33-hook too)
