  1. here are some unofficial one-year-old images from a 3rd party developer those are old edgelights with the current-old engine and were early WIP at that time (1.2.7 maybe) that's not the brighty Las Vegas but Batumi and Tbilisi, so imagine how that city lights look now (after a year of development/facelifting) and how will look like within edge - on the old map :megalol:

(click on for full-res, twice) mig-15: white tail light omnilight is too large left intake, left wing is illuminated with the external tank too su-24m: wrong light comes from the luminare under the left wing root (you can see the wrong spot on the left intake too) fuselage, right wings and right pylon is illuminated - shelter on the right as well f-86: taxi lights works as landing lights - used arg value should be 0.9 instead of 0.5

  5. i checked the F-86 spotlight animations: (F-86.lua) argument = 427 and argument = 419 (rotations for luminaires and light connectors) F-86 use arg value = 1.0 while landing and arg value = 0.5 while taxiing but should be the opposite or more exactly: for landing arg value needs = 0.7 and 0.9 for taxi on the ground
  6. calculated/projected light goes to left (you can see on left wingtip and on the shelter), while only the spotlight texture is on the taxiway
  7. i know those shifts Billy, however im talking about a comletely wrong light axis light use Z axis instead of X axis check the aircrafts spotlights while taxiing between shelters: light texture is ok on the ground (light forward a bit shifted to the left) but nothing will be illuminated front of the aircraft (only the ground) illumination goes totally left, not slightly but totally 90 degrees left (on Z axis) you can see that wrong light on the wings and on the pylons as well (su-27, mig-15, su-24m)

Landing lights will now light a ground surfaces" yeah, but unfortunately to wrong direction: light textures visible on the ground but the calculated light projection is wrong: lights to left side same, wrong on MiG-15 and on the Su-24M (which light to the right side), Su-24MR is ok pretty sure there are wrong connector directions in the model files (and still no connectors in the su-27.edm) F-86 landing and taxi lights wrong too, AI use taxi light while landing and downward landing light for taxi :(

  13. unfortunately we dont know (yet) how the carrier implementation is going (coming), not only the 3d model making but the carrier scripting, in-sim behaviour too so i think it will be task/work of ED and not job of 3rd parties (maybe in 2016 with DCS:Hornet) that was almost 3 years ago: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3597545/1.html
  14. unfortunately that wont be nice Cali OAT/humidity/altitude (seasons, rain, snow, air pressure) is the key on visibility engine RPM and EGT is the key on how far/distance starts the condensation behind the aircraft fuel consumption is the key on the contrail density and thickness simple calculations

  16. nice :thumbup: are you going to release individually ? or within the next patch officially ? and the Typhoon ? looks that the old (lom-to-edm) model, right ? will be pushed into DCSW (officially by VEAO) as an AI AC maybe ? (in the next patch as well) :)

  18. DCS is only a "pc-demo" of the "real game" use a bit of your imagination, it's not a difficult jigsaw puzzle you can find all the necessary instructions on the NET for that puzzle

  20. the translation is misleading and unclear orkan means devastating stong wind/gale in german and in hungarian as well (title/description of the highest Beaufort number - wind) however in english it called hurricane what is usually a tropical cyclone with spinning/rotary motion, therefore the word tornado isnt a good translation too (in broader/larger geographical and meteorological sense) imho
