(there are large cities on the outer boundaries of the caucasian map such as anapa, mineralnye vody, tbilisi and batumi) and what kind of detail will get the grand canyon and on the other side the sierra nevada ? and on the north the monitor range mountains and great basin national park with the wheeler peak ?

  5. i like your works Jacob but please see/check Barthek's early textures (what are not released (yet) unfortunately) those are almost good, squares/quadrats a bit small (should be only 3 under the su-27 wingspan - what is almost 15 meters) so there should be 5 or 6 squares on the full taxiway width - if you want to use square/quadrat http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=132444&page=7

  8. you know, the main optimization is the dx11 usage, so the plus 200-400% FPS increase (antialiasing dependant) is not bad imho :)
  9. no Joey, that's a small piece of trash what slides forward on the inner side of the canopy while the pilot does the negative G there are always some trash and dust on the canopy when pilots do an inverted or negative G flight, therefore some crazy pilot brings cordless handheld vacuum cleaners up to make the workplace perfectly clean and neat :D

  11. no, not always, check the moon phase in the mission (date) http://www.moonconnection.com/moon_phases.phtml around the new moon phases/dates (when no visible moon on the sky) the surface is very dark in dcs
  12. nice video, but what was the actual time in the mission ? around midnight ? that night looked too bright to me, was there a fullmoon on the sky ? (or mod ?)
  13. i agree and the files need date and updated-date as well moreover the updated files should be visible on the first page again, highlighted with the new updated (uploading) date/version

  17. very strange, they chose the same name "High Roller" for Caesars' new observation wheel The "first" High Roller at 909 ft (277 m) - on the Stratosphere Tower was the second highest ride in the world and the highest roller coaster It was closed on December 30, 2005, and dismantled to make space for a new attraction in DCSW2 NTTR: an experienced 3D model artist needs only couple days to make that model and put into Las Vegas on the NTTR map...so maybe we will see that new observation wheel in the sim as well as the new control tower(s) on the McCarran International Airport (in Wags' video)

  21. yes, hopefully but i think that will happen after the release of DCSW2 "something beside pictures" ? that's why i used the maximalist (perfectionist?) word, as i see he was not sufficiently satisfied with his earlier works however id like too see some (wip?) screenshots more :P
  22. yeah, just wait for his new (and never seen before in simulations) mindblowing various features/effects for DCSW2 two years has passed already ? (without his words/posts) as i see (unfortunately???) he is not slow but maximalist in realistic spectacle :)
