  1. DCSW manages them differently only that matters when we talk about features in DCS
  2. ok the main visual difference under normal circumstances: wingflex animation is G-force related (fighter AC) wingflex animation is airspeed and lift related (commercial AC) rotorblade-flex animation is blade-AOA and/or angular speed related wingflex and rotorblade-flex animations have got different official args as well
  3. that cant do a barrel roll, that can do only a simple "inverted flight" because there is no -1G while do a barrel roll for a perfect motion/flight sim you must invent and use a gravity/anti-gravity device ;)
  4. :P X means: no landing (closed runway) ;)
  5. the huey got rotor blade flex too, even the oldest choppers have it as well such as sh-3, sh-60, and ch-53. only the old-early-testbed ah-1g has no rotorblade deflection/bend but rotorblade bend is not as the wingflex however the animation technique is analogous: simple part rotation or bone animation (sometimes via connectors)

  10. sorry but on the russian side of the forum Chizh just announced DCSW1.5 and the L-39 Alba releases postponed to next month (october?) because of bugs :cry: another 10 more sleeps ?

  18. sorry, but how many decades will you have to learn 3dsmax ? :) - to reach an acceptable level - it's not about money, it's about time, aptitude, intrepidity, patience and ability well, i prefer the opposite: i dont mind if it looks bad in 3dsmax but it must look good in dcsw, imho :D
  19. not bad Batou :thumbup:, however the vertical scale is exaggerated. i mean your mountains are too high, what is not realistic by the way, as far as i know HungaroJET already made (makes also - still WIP) many maps/sceneries/vegetation as well maybe You should cooperate together

  23. so, without wing bending/flex does it work ? arg500 was ok ? my suggestion: 1st try: delete the lua code " set_aircraft_draw_argument_value(501, (gforce)*0.1) -- airflow separation effect animation set_aircraft_draw_argument_value(502, (gforce)*0.1) -- g-force wings bending animation" if works now, then there are problems only with arg501 and/or arg502 animations or problems with the lua code what you deleted ( set_aircraft_draw_argument_value 501 and/or 502) 2nd try: afaik you dont need other bounding box for wingflex 3rd try: animation speed ? did you set ? (in other lua file?)
  24. hey Skate, please tell us something else more: are there added bump/normal and specular maps next to the diffuse maps for those new terrain textures ?
