  1. I emailed about the sensor and the other things 2 and a half weeks ago. :) Still waiting for a reply.
  2. It's a one time thing. The key can only be registered to one account, and then it will be locked to that account. I guess who uses that account is up to you.
  3. Take a look there. But bear in mind that if you're getting the new throttle, that one might not work for you. The throttle throw range has changed, so you might want a bigger detent and the dimensions could have changed.
  4. I understand why you were confused, but as someone who wasn't involved in the original conversation, it seems obvious that he was asking how you knew that it was going to be fixed. You hadn't told him that you reported anything until after this.
  5. As far as I can work out the issue is that on a dual axis throttle, the axes are never perfectly matched, so one will always give a very slightly different value than the other. If you're using them 'locked' you want them to give the same value, so Virpil use a software trick to match the values if it detects that they're close. On older versions it used a physical switch to only activate this feature when the throttles were locked together. Apparently on the new throttle, this switch no longer exists and it is activated all the time. This means that every time the throttles pass each other there is a little blip while it erroneously thinks it needs to match them.
  6. Maybe you should stop asking questions if you don't want anyone to answer them. You've been here a while, surely you know that the devs aren't going to answer you.
  7. Yes it is compatible. Ralfidude shows it in his review on youtube.
  8. Man Buys Mt-50. What Happened Next Will Surprise You!
  9. I believe he's one man making bespoke throttles to order. He doesn't hold items in stock, and they don't have a set price because each is unique. If you want a quote for such a product, you'll need to email him and tell him what you want (either a new idea, or a copy of something he's shown before I guess) That's just what you'll have to put up with if you want to order from someone like this rather than a big company pumping out mass produced junk. As far as I can tell, his prices seem reasonable. It isn't a case of him hiding prices because they're ridiculous.
  10. Because he's used it for 100 hours and not had the problem. And we still only have one person who has had it. The rest of the thread is just speculation.
  11. Which virpil base? There are two.
  12. Yeah. Just days after mocking the ordering system of another company, and boasting about doing pre-orders. Very good move. :)
  13. When I was using pedals and my CH stick it was taking me months to taxi in the Spitfire and occasionally I'd smash the nose into the floor. First try with my T-50 using the brake lever and it took a tenth the time! Having the right(ish) control does make a huge difference.
  14. In DCS you want full screen unticked, and your screen resolution set the same as your monitor resolution. That should run in borderless windowed. In OBS you want a Display Capture source for the monitor on which the game will be displayed. I've just tested it and it works perfectly for me that way.
  15. Have you tried running borderless windowed mode and using screen capture? Some games require you to do things like that.
  16. I fear your definition of 'in stock' and also of '14 days' will be different from theirs. Nevertheless, it will be well worth the wait, it's an excellent stick and base.
  17. I've only been using mine for a few weeks and not a huge amount but I've upgraded from a CH Flightstick. The difference is insane. On my first attempt at aerial refuelling the Mirage with the CH stick I failed completely and gave up after half an hour of flailing around wildly. First try (second overall) with the T50 and I connected in about a minute and filled up in one go, no disconnects. Not flown a huge amount yet but I've used it with the Mirage and Harrier. I use no deadzone and a slight curve of around 5/6 on both pitch and roll set in DCS, with no plans to change it at the moment. I'm also using the standard internal settings of soft centre cam and medium spring, which I like.
  18. I believe you need to use a monitor config for this as you would with Helios. Ikarus itself doesn't need one because it's just taking data from the game and rendering its own instruments. What you're trying to do now though requires the actual game output to be displayed directly on the other monitor, requiring the config.
  19. It looks to me like they're an amazing high tech thing called 'bits of paper stuck to the bezel' :smilewink:
  20. Y'all seem to have got your threads mixed up, this is the throttle one. ;)
  21. Even if they wanted to develop it for an old game, there's no way Razbam could actually update the module for 1.5 if ED don't want to. If ED don't release an update, Razbam have no means to push changes to the game.
  22. Received my T-50 base and stick last week, a bit over a month after ordering. Delivery itself only took a few days from despatch to arriving at my home in the UK. Not managed to fly with it yet as I'm still working on my mounting solution but all the buttons are nice and crisp and the axes are all perfectly smooth, so I'm as happy as I can be so far. :) Edit: Didn't have to pay any customs charges or anything like that. Price I paid at checkout was the last payment I had to make.
  23. Definitely interested in pre-ordering this at the end of the month. At what point is the discount for T-50 stick owners applied? During checkout? After checkout(a refund)?
