i did not test but i would guess the ground is not properly modelled. a recent pic from google seems to look like any other smooth tarmac honestly. however it seems like this area is not intended for AC. kinda small it looks like to me.

hello. there is a really good publication titled Multiservice Brevity Codes from Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/pdfs/ADA404426.pdf in your example "MICKEY HAVE QUICK time-of-day (TOD) signal" HAVE QUICK is a radio mode. A UHF jam-resistant radio. another good resource for all F-16 blah blah. https://www.f-16.net/

good suggestion from rebel. also see if there is any sort of disk process going on like in my case i had my windows desktop backgrounds in slide show. it was an unwanted disk read. however i lean towards rebel's suggestion as best choice.

hello the track on my computer does not have any visual artefacts. this likely points to your computer. upload your latest dcs.log which will show your DCS graphics settings. then if possible share you nvidia control panel graphics settings for DCS via screenshot. -

DCS keeps losing keybindings

i use a utility called DCS Update Witching Utility by Bailey (DCS v2.7.7.15038). there are several buttons that backup inputs and configs as a zip. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315428/ it works with the latest DCS version. -

when you say refuses to load... do you mean it does not download? or does it not install? i just tried the link shared and had no issues. but i did not try to install it because i have no issues. if you look in apps on windows, you may see many instances of various versions. this is from WIN10 null

i have seen this before. not often. honestly i just ignore it. i have never seen it from the cockpit. i rarely fly around in any view except cockpit. perhaps this is why i rarely see the artefacts. do you notice any other graphics anomalies? -
i know this CPU has had its share of problems. i read an article yesterday that may surprise some users. https://www.xda-developers.com/intel-core-i9-14900k-deteriorated/

i did not go through all the posts on this thread after i posted. forgive me if it has been suggested. sometimes RAM could be simply be reseated to correct issues.

hello, are you running it with openxr toolkit? i believe that was added natively yo DCS a few months ago. meaning no need for the switches in the shortcut.

not sure that this would cause stuttering. you have this in the log. 2024-11-03 16:20:53.591 ERROR ASYNCNET (7648): HTTP request https://stat.digitalcombatsimulator.com/gameapi/stats4 failed with error 35: SSL connect error also in logs 2024-11-03 16:19:56.492 WARNING EDCORE (Main): CPU HAS PARKED LOGICAL CORES (this can be source of stuttering and reduced performance especially on hybrid CPUs with P/E-cores) try without pausing any cores

that is one of the files mentioned in the CRASH file. as ramstein mentioned. it could be that you need to reinstall graphics drivers. as i mentioned before, it is best to get some easy troubleshooting steps out of the way and the other ones perhaps will not be needed. get rid of MODS run a repair other tips here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/543/

notepad or notepad++ or a program called logviewer https://www.softpagehomeware.com/

correct. no problems. looking at your dcs.log(s) you shared. i suggest you remove all your mods 2024-11-03 12:50:34.275 ALERT Scripting (Main): loadfile: [string "C:\Users\Andrew\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/VPC-Airfield..."]:6: '=' expected near '-' then run a repair. also found in the crash file D:\DCS World\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\GraphicsCore.dll numerous reasons for this. try the above fixes and then come back if you are still having issues. the fixes are a good start.

these folders contain what is known in the forums as shaders. when the game starts, shaders (textures) are created / compiled. many people will suggest deleting the folders each time an update is performed. first run of dcs will recreate these with the new textures.
