roger. good luck and clear skies.

indeed. cinebench does not stress your drives. (unless i am missing something) have you tried some other drive diag software? or just run chkdsk? have you checked in Windows event viewer for any errors happening at the time of the crashes?
-
unfortunately i am not seeing a lot of commonality between LOGs. and the LOGs do not indicate a crash as one would normally see. a crash starts with this line. have you emptied the FXO and METASHADERS2 folders in Saved Games? i do see some entries about having to recompile some shaders.

roger. i have that and will see how it goes. AH-64D_IA_MAR_Hitchhiker.miz

hello. there is a video on YT that may help with simhaptic. it looks like you can enable certain scenarios i.e. catapult. i do not have any haptic devices so i have nothing to test.

standard mission? what AC? please post and we can try to see what results we get.

hello, this may be related to your other post about AV. try again after removing unofficial mods, adding exclusions to AV and doing a repair.
-
there are lots of these reports in the forum. the problem is your AV is finding various DLLs in DCS and marking them suspicious. if you feel comfortable, add DCS folders to exceptions. this is also know to speed up the loading.

news about the delay (and other news) is on the main DCS website. or just keep playing. eventually it will update. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

sorry. i thought that since there is still a lot of chatter on this topic, you still had no solution. -
Horrible DCS load times for first time in the day
silverdevil replied to imacken's topic in Game Performance Bugs
hello. i had this issue. i saw a tutorial on YT mentioning the opening sim from run icon to main menu performance. once i added the exclusions in my AV, i went from 2 + minutes to 30 seconds. -

as rob says, the AV classifies anything encrypted and not seen before as suspicious. then out of the abundance of caution quarantine the file. this allows the user to decide keep or kill. these files are encrypted to provide some defense of stealing intellectual property. these files are frequently updated with new encryption. so they get flagged again.
-
if comfortable, you need to add a few folders to the exceptions. not just the updater. this is for defender but the folders to exclude are the same. you could also "report false positive" to help others. the files are not virus.

i did a doc when i got a new pc. along with @HC_Official video, you should be able to get it sorted. https://pcwiseman.com/downloads_files/DCS_New_Computer.pdf

the speed of storage also has relevance on the amount of time it takes loading textures. i have personally noticed in some instances the loading takes time whereas some instances it is immediate.

solved DCS Stuttering mess launcing in 4k monitor
silverdevil replied to Hammer1-1's topic in Game Performance Bugs
agreed. something in DCS is resetting it to the incorrect aspect value. perhaps manually changing the aspect in options.lua will keep DCS from trying to auto-create the file after deleting the entire config folder. -

interesting setup. i do know some others say the disabling hotplug helps with stutter. have a look at this post still seeing this message. 2024-06-29 19:16:16.451 INFO DX11BACKEND (3504): DX11Renderer initialization (w:3840 h:2160 fullscrn:1 vsync:0 adapter:0 monitor:1 shaderErrors:1) seems to me DCS is complaining about the resolution. but your monitor from the samsung site definitely is 3,840 x 2,160. i am seeing in the latest log that the aspect ratio is not correct. 3840 x 2160 aspect is 1.7777777777778 your log says ["aspect"] = 1.3333333333333 manually change the options.lua after renaming it. -
cannot reproduce Unlimited Weapons not working
silverdevil replied to Bookworm's topic in General Bugs
hello. please post your MIZ. as @Flappie said two months ago, the MIZ provided by the OP did not replicate the issue. also best to start another track so if you get it fixed you can accept the solution. -
solved DCS Stuttering mess launcing in 4k monitor
silverdevil replied to Hammer1-1's topic in Game Performance Bugs
hello. sorry for delay. thanks for log and lua. first thing i see which may not be a cause of this issue is the following line in the log. this is not a problem but odd. next is mods. disable your mods (A-4 is likely ok) then USBs are being unplugged and replugged. that you doing it? lastly this is probably the cause i suggest renaming your options.lua after shutdown of DCS. then restart DCS. a new file will be created. see what happens. -

hello. can you share what settings after deleting CONFIG folder you are changing? off the top of my head i do not know. sharing may bump an idea. also, as in all forum posts, it is always a good idea to post your logs. these almost always have clues. -

hello and welcome. this could possibly be a cable issue. i did a little google search and there are other posts out in the world that blame cable. also perhaps reset WMR environment. https://steamcommunity.com/app/250820/discussions/0/4200238624230324911/
