these files are encrypted to prevent intellectual property theft for the most part. it is just that the AV companies suspect these files when they do not know about them. i used to work for a company that ran AV on an Exchange server. the server would go down periodically because important DLLs where blocked. so it does not just happen to gamers. https://forum.eset.com/topic/29660-eset-file-security-make-exchange-crash/ if you need assistance with exclusions, come back and let us know what AV you are running, and we can help you sort it.

Constant Freezes engaging Flankers.
silverdevil replied to Discus177's topic in Game Performance Bugs
hello. obviously not normal. do you have issues with any other adversarial aircraft? maybe try to replace the flanker with something else. have you tried a repair? any mods? also there may be some clues in your dcs.log. please post that and any other info you can that may help the diagnosis. -
hello. unfortunately the track system has been this way literally forever. there have been some improvements over the years. and there are many posts about the same problem. there is no fix. the track system was never meant for playback for content creation. it was used as small tracks for troubleshooting for the devs. i can however give you a tip. when you want to watch the track to create the content, unplug your controllers. any movement by you will affect what the AI does. the longer the track, the more error you will see.

hello. it appears to be your AV blocking the file. 2024-06-19 10:49:59.739 INFO EDCORE (Main): C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin-mt\ImGui.dll you can if you are comfortable exclude DCS folder from real time scanning or pause AV software.

just ask all the idiots that installed Solar Winds and left the default password too.

i mean it took me the time to type in the error in my preferred search host to find: if people searched for 500 error, perhaps they would learn something. ED was warning us for a week about it.

this infers there is some sort of timebomb written into that module. perhaps the devs felt something was going downhill before it became public. i hope this is wrong.

hello. you should start a new thread or create a support ticket. this thread is 5 years old. but quick look at your log. 2024-06-15 22:19:42.097 INFO ASYNCNET (28592): Login success. 2024-06-15 22:19:43.002 INFO ASYNCNET (28592): Got auth data. 2024-06-15 22:19:43.212 INFO APP (Main): Successfully got authorization data. can you post a screen shot of the message you are receiving indicating not being able to login? if so do so on the new thread.

M2000 DLL tagged as trojan with DCS 2.9.5.55918?
silverdevil replied to ataribaby's topic in Installation Problems
there are two sides to this discussion. maybe ED should submit their files sure. but historically all good AV vendors have a way to submit a file for review by an end user. that way its not ED saying "we do not have viruses in our code. trust us." the AV vendor responsibility is to the end user that pays for the AV software. not to ED in this case. ED EULA is quite clear. how can they be responsible for AV or anything else on an end user's computer? -

ha! El circo es que pones tu pregunta aquí y solo quieres ver lo que quieres escuchar. i did not realize these forums were invite only. if you want help you need to be a little more open minded on the answers. its not even your thread. buena suerte por tu cuenta. -

ah. i am unsure of a limit for MIZs. i personally have a MIZ that is 75 MB. back to my question from before. can you share the mission? all the supposition is not going to get us anywhere helping you. -
immagino che il DCS avesse alcuni file aperti. cos'è che hai installato l'antivirus. magari riavviare il computer?

the forum has a 50 MB limit. otherwise you need to share it another way. only way we can check the mission is to be able to run it. have you tried the trick to opening the mission in the new DCS version and then saving it again? -
indeed a tacview track is not helpful in your case. i am talking about the trk files in the folder \Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer
-
MP tracks are automatically saved in \Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer

ED has been working (i think) on INS improvements so you may be experiencing this. since you are on MP, there may be some irregularities. have you tried some other SP missions to see your results? have a look and download this set of missions. @=617= Evil did an excellent job making these missions for training. pretty much all the weapons are included. most are air start or hot start so the INS is already calibrated. JDAMs should not miss but other users have reported the same problem. the ordnance logic of DCS F-16 is still WIP and unfortunately seems to change for patch to patch. i just try to work my way around it. it reminds me of kentucky windage. so i use this idea with F-16. its something is off, i compensate. i used to be a tank gunner in the army. i sort of used kentucky windage with gunnery. all the tech in the world, there are inaccuracies. its a glorious wonder that any of this works at all. i have endless patience with DCS devs. they have an almost impossible job with making these sims and i applaud them. i also realize they (no one) is perfect. BTW no track was attached.

@ReveWolf - this post is probably being missed as a bug because it is in the wrong forum. can you upload a shorter track? or maybe a video of the results. there are other users that have similar problems. if i was to bet, the INS procedure is not complete or otherwise inaccurate.
