  1. first thing to try is disable mods. then run a repair. also empty shader folders.
  2. guten tag. try to restart computer and then restart internet equipment. this is likely an issue on your end.
  3. this is usually caused by AV. if you are comfortable, add exclusions for the pertinent folders to stop blocking. example from Defender.
  4. lots of topics about this. in a nutshell: first try a reboot of computer try to restart internet equipment check AV / Firewall
  5. go into you DCS and module manager. uncheck the box next to F15E
  6. i had the problem for endless loop of needing authorization of FC3 until i upgraded for the $9.99. i am unable to find the official post but i think this is being worked to correct the endless loop. unfair to force people to upgrade if they do not want to. though the plane contents are different. i.e. F86 was a separate module.
  7. hello. are you able to post your DCS.LOG? the GUIDs of the controller found will be in there. edit: i ran across this post. nuclear option but may be worth your effort.
  8. it is only a workaround but one can open \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\config\options.lua and change ["launcher"] = true, to ["launcher"] = false, this will only disable the launcher.
  9. it opens the F15E model as black and white for me too. though i have no experience with the modelviewer.
  10. to confirm, i ran each DCS.EXE and one opened ST and the other (in the MT folder) opened up MT. MT had the banner for multi-threading.
  11. hello. you should open a new thread as this one is old. also your log file is indicating possibly another issue.
  12. THERE ARE STILL TWO FOLDERS WITH DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF DCS.EXE. C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGLE DYNAMICS\DCS WORLD OPENBETA\BIN C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGLE DYNAMICS\DCS WORLD OPENBETA\BIN-MT
  13. hello https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/
  14. i got same message. i own FC3. but after the $9.99 purchase, the message went away. null
  15. when you enable newly purchased modules, the game closes, then downloads new files to cover the enabled modules, then restarts. it may be worth a repair. it will not hurt anything. a full reinstall is not needed. a slow repair is better because it is an incremental process. it only downloads what is needed.
  16. i was able to get into game. my first try, i had to enable the new modules and terrain. then game reset, did the additional files download. then i purchased the FC 4 for $9.99. closed and reopened DCS. enabled FC4. did the additional files download. all set. no errors or issues noted.
  17. LMAO Max
  18. hello. i did a doc about this in 2021. https://pcwiseman.com/downloads_files/DCS_New_Computer.pdf
  19. submitting the files is the right thing to do if you are concerned. if no one ever submitted flagged files, the files would never get checked.
  20. i watched track and the UH-60 landed. i think AI logic makes the AC go to closest friendly airfield. in this case, the SC.
  21. ah ha! power! i have seen that as an issue on the forums here. good luck. hope it works out for you.
  22. hmm. i am running out of ideas. being that COD is also crashing, seems to be pointing to an issue outside of the games. maybe hardware going bad. not sure. what did support person say about chkdsk?
  23. no problem. i mentioned the OC because your sig says you have "ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC". OC means the card is factory overclock.
  24. the event logs do not show a crash with DCS that crashes "normally". meaning the DCS crash that creates the ZIP in the DCS Saved Games folder. in my case i had a crash 2/4/2024. there was a ZIP but nothing in the event logs. your DCS crash logs do not show the normal DCS crash. do you overclock? even factory OC on your GFX card could be causing an issue. you could set your nvidia driver to debug to see if it helps. take a look at the last bit on this page. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3141/~/how-to-provide-valuable-feedback-to-nvidia
  25. good to hear. i am a sysadmin, and troubleshooting sometimes goes back to "check everything again."
