  1. hello. the DCS.log shows just before the crash scripting errors. i am seeing MOOSE errors too. you could try to remove the scripts and see what happens. you could also try to lessen the smoke density.

  4. hello. tracks are notoriously understood to be inconsistent. the longer they are, the more so. the screen shot you posted looks weird obviously. i think for this you need to remove all unofficial mods and run a slow repair. also upload the DCS.LOG for clues. https://forum.dcs.world/search/?&q=trk&quick=1&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy
  5. kill the soldier seriously though. this campaign probably needs an update because the AI logic has changed. when is last time it was updated to 2.9 standards? you may need to ask for help from Reflected Sim support

  7. hello. i read your post on steam forums. have you tried the step to rename the DCS folder in Saved Games as a test. just rename because your controllers are in there and you would need to reconfigure. i mention this because the last post on the other thread stated that they were able to get past their issue loading by changing some LUA files. when you rename the folder, a new one with default settings will be created.
  8. in your log: 2024-08-23 14:56:18.557 INFO APP (Main): CPU cores: 8, threads: 16, System RAM: 32687 MB, Pagefile: 4048 MB you are likely not waiting long enough for the sim to load. your log ends in less than 3 minutes before you are ending the task. your computer is older hardware and need more memory. make a static pagefile of 32 gbs.
  9. we need to understand and explain the difference between latency and slowness caused by scanning. before i added exceptions in Defender, my loading time of the sim was over two minutes. after adding the exclusions, i now load at 30 seconds. i never noticed latency prior to or after the exclusions. this is just my experience. computation requires the decompression of required files to make a game work. each file will be scanned by the AV. once recognized as safe, these files stay decompressed until the game stops. this is the savings by adding an exclusion.
  10. another thing you can try is start with the presets, with low being first. then you can get an idea what each setting is affecting the performance.
  11. the lang.lua exists in two places. \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\config and \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config ensure the files only contains EN (or whatever the language code is for your preferred language).
  12. hello. have you made exclusions for all the DCS folders in your AV? in task manager, is there any evidence of DCS running?
  13. you probably already know this but Windows 10/11 both have Defender by default. so there might still be some protection reporting false positives.
  14. hello. just as a test, are you able to create a simple mission yourself and see if it changes?
  15. is it a script created on an earlier version of DCS? it may be a bit of the code that needs to be updated. i know i have experienced older scripts not working. to eliminate the possibility, try the mission without the script, even though the mission has no point without the script.
  16. hello. i am unsure exactly what the problem is. though the log has these lines towards the end that appears to be the cause. looks to be a massive MP track. i believe there is a limit to track sizes. this is a similar post but not marked solved.
  17. this can help. i know there are other users that have same latency and connectivity problems and VPN helped. i agree with max though i get that the real problem is with Deutsche Telekom AG. sucks.

  19. hello. this might be a local setting on your system. i do not see this anomaly. can you post your DCS log? it will have your graphics settings in the log for review.
  20. hello. i tried your tests and got the following i am in USA Eastern VA. though the ping time is longer to dcs, i get 0% packet loss. typically with updates i get between 90 and 100 MB/s
  21. good diagnosing. you should mark your post as solution. IMHO ED files getting corrupted by an outside app is not their app's issue. this is the problem of the outside app. see if you can get settings for the outside app to make it look in only the MSFS folders.
